Men's Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 1000G Boot

The boots are just what they claim they are! Light, comfortable and have alot of support. I hope they last as long as they claim they will. I do wish that they at least came with a can of boot wax. After I receive the boots I then realized I needed to order the Kenetrek boot wax that is made specific for the boot do the rubber don't de- laminate. Other than that I am enjoying them.

This is my first hunting season in these boots. I've put in many 5 - 12 mile days slogging through creeks, mud, grass etc. Uphill and down clear-cuts, trails and cobbled logging roads. My feet are yet to get wet or cold. And most surprisingly is the fact that using a single layer of socks, I've not gotten a single blister or hot spot. Even though the boots were brand new, they were comfortable out of the box. They felt like they had already gone through the "break in" period. On another note. The 1000 gram insulated boots are hard to find in stores so originally I purchased the 400-gram boot at Sportsman's Warehouse. My heart though was really set on the 1000 gram boots. I contacted Kenetrek. Their customer service was incredible. I returned the 400 gram boots directly to them and they sent me the 1000s for a small difference in price. This company and their products are awesome!
