A few years ago I got the same pair, in 9 days on assignment the soles were completely gone- cowboy boot slick. Internet rumors said the issue was fixed so I bought another pair. Hiked a total of 4 miles in an out of a local incident. The sole had chunked away, several lugs were gone and more were tearing. I’m only 185lbs, this was in mild terrain. They refunded my money I returned them. The rep said I must of had a defective pair, I think 2 defective pairs years apart is a bad excuse. The first batch 18 of us had the boots on the crew… all of them were destroyed in the same timeframe.
