Features: The KÜHL ALLOY SWEATER features soft, lightweight sweater-knit fabric with great breathability, wicking properties and UPF 15. The fabric has a touch of stretch for comfort.
Sewn with DYNAMIK stitching for more stretch and strength than traditional flatlock, low bulk seams make layering comfortable and easy. KÜHL's articulated 5-panel sleeves provide better range of motion.
The ALLOY SWEATER features KÜHL's signature thumb loops to lock out the cold, an 11-inch reverse coil zipper with draft flap and chin guard, and an interior locker loop for storage.
Great - but watch out for size (compared to my both my Thor tops)
This could be a great top - it is by no means for cold weather though - just watch out for sizing. I have two Thor tops, both Large, that fit great (6'6" / 220) however my L Alloy is skin tight. It was a gift, otherwise I would have exchanged it for an XL.
I bought my husband 2 shorts & 2 different types of shirts. He loves all items, quality & fit was on point. He is usually a L in all his tops, we got him XL in only one item that we previously ordered too, the thinner long sleeve half zip. It was perfect! Besides that all sizes were like his usual.
Just bought some long sleeved shirts for fall and winter, and like all Kuhl products, they’re top quality in terms of meticulous fabrication and excellent fit. Won’t be too long until my entire closet is made up of Kuhl clothes!
This is the second quarter-zip in this model I've purchased and I just love it. The fit is outstanding and the quality top-notch. Kuhl has become one of my favorite brands of clothing, keep up the great work!!
I love the fit of this pullover/shirt. It fits very snug for an athletic build; I can't wear a t-shirt underneath, which is no big deal. It's a very lightweight shirt, so it's not for cold weather days. I layered this with my Interceptr on a 40 deg. day and it was perfect. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't $85. It's too light weight to warrant that cost.
Great Shirt, like almost all Kuhl clothing it tends to run a size small compared to other brands XXL = XL (Under Armour, Nike) but the style and quality are a step above the rest. I was impressed enough with this shirt that I came back and purchased additional colors of it
Excellent Shorts for hiking, boating and still nice looking enough to wear out on the town
I have been very happy with Kuhl clothing in the past. It is durable, well made and comfortable. These shorts are excellent for summer wear and tough enough to stand up to outdoor activities. The look good too, nice enough to wear to a get together or on a date!
This is a light weight shirt and very comfortable. The shoulders and arms are true. The only caution I would give is if you are not a fit guy and go back and fourth between large a XL as I do at 5'11" 195 and have a bit of a belly. I would go with the XL. I know it is hard to accept for those of us with a belly and you fit guys go. This goes with most Kuhl shirts. the XL fit me well and the large makes me feel like my belly is on display. Love Kuhl products.
Kuhl large tops are cut perfectly for a trim/medium build 6'2" person (175-180lbs). Perfect sleeve length, body length/width. I am little worried about the coiled/dynamic stiching - it seems like a soft thread that is easily snagged/pulled. but so far one of my Kuhl favs....
Alloy has become my favorite layering shirt for fall and winter riding. On cool, grey autumn days I can throw this over a long or short sleeve shirt and be good to go. It provides some cover against the Midwestern wind but is still lightweight and breathable. For nighttime winter rides I put a turtleneck under this and wear a thin fleece on top. It works brilliantly. I stay warm while avoiding the bulky feel of a winter jacket. The thumbholes mean that I can put on a pair of lobster gloves without worrying about my sleeves riding up and exposing my wrists to the cold. It does feel a bit big on me. Then again, I'm a lanky guy. The comfort is excellent. I wear this at least once a week in the cooler seasons. It looks great, too.
As with every other article clothing that I have purchased from Kuhl the alloy is absolutely amazing. This long sleeve is super soft, smooth and allows for great layering. It is a little bit thinner than the Ryzer. I went and bought two more the same day my first one arrived.
Couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Alloy pullover. I purchased the graphite color through REI. I wear it about 3 days a week with a t-shirt underneath so I have not experienced any smell issue. In fact I have had this shirt for over one month now and have yet to wash it as it still looks new. Love the material it is made of.
I really wanted to like this and the Racer I bought. It looks very sharp. But it's polyester which doesn't breathe like wool. So you heat up and get clammy and in my case start to smell. The Racer I bought is also a M but is way bigger than the Alloy. It's frustrating when a company can't be consistent in sizes.
