Features: The KÜHL Konfidant Air Pant features patent-pending knee and gusseted crotch vents for better airflow to keep you comfortable in high heat and humidity. The Konfidant Air pant is revolutionary for its remarkable cooling effect, ergonomic design, and lightweight yet durable fabric construction.
The Konfidant Air features the unique, rapid drying ENDURO fabric with UPF 50 which make it ideal for damp activities like crossing streams, hiking wet meadows, and beach combing.
With 9 total pockets, the Konfidant Air boasts ample storage. The cell phone and wallet pocket are designed so you don't sit on your wallet.
it's 4.5, half a star going to the new design for its pockets... I personally prefer "old style" regular cargos to zippered slits as on this model; still cannot think of a reason to use its drop-in pocket too... Also, the cell-phone pocket is on the left side, so it's, I assume, is very great for lefties and another minor inconvenience for a right-handed person like myself. Still, all these are rather minor, very nice otherwise
I like KUHL pants and I would give them 5 stars if they had a tropical weight pant sort of like the Kontra, that they quit making. The KONFIDANT is too heavy for a humid hot climate. Along with a tropical weight pant they need it to be relaxed fit like the Revolvr. Not everyone likes the trend toward skinny legs. Plus, when I bought the Revolvr for its relaxed fit it did not have the zippered security pocket. That’s my fault because I should have asked but I bought them primarily for travel and a security pocket is really a necessity. I will probably still buy KUHL pants as I have in the past but I wish they had not stopped the Kontra. KUHL: put together a tropical weight, relaxed fit, zippered pocket pant for those of us in hot climates that have to travel some. That would be a winner I believe.
These pants are great. They’re comfortable, light weight, very functional, and sharp looking. The cell phone pocket is outstanding. I don’t even know I have a cell phone with me until I reach into the ergonomically designed handy pocket and there it is. I’ve bought two pairs and I’m going to buy a third just to have a different color!
I own three pairs. I love them for daily wear. The pockets make them super versatile. Side pocket for cell phone should be part of every pants ever made. Side zip pockets are great to secure items, even a wallet - so you don’t have to sit on it. Articulated areas make Pants very comfortable and lightweight. But, two pairs have virtually fallen apart in crotch and inseam. So disappointed. Some of Kuhl’s other styles are holding up much better. Would be 5 starts if they weren’t shredding.
These are by far the most comfortable, easy and versatile pants I’ve ever owned. I trekked through Norway with them - quick dry for Scandinavian rain. They vent for summer hikes. Throw a sport coat on the khaki pair and you can go to the club and they are so comfortable sometimes I fall asleep in them. I have three pair.
I bought these for work in addition to a pair of Revolver pants. The revolver ran about a half size smaller than other brands but that was expected. These run at least 1.5 sizes smaller. Both pants the same size yet the Konfidant Air are so snug I can barely buckle them despite going a size up (33 waist). Had to buy online due to Covid, now I will have to pay an additional $7.50 to return/exchange.
Great lightweight everyday any every activity pant
Light weight, comfortable, and no restriction of movement. Good for every day office use as well as every activity pant. Key item is lightweight fabric and unrestricted easy of movement that as I said makes it perfect for the office as well as outdoors on teh trail.
I purchased the Konfidant Air Pant for two reasons. First as a firearms instructor on the Gulf Coast I needed a quick dry vented pant for hot humid conditions. Second I need a pant with SPF, quick dry, and venting capabilities for Gulf of Mexico off shore summer fishing trips. The Konfidant Air Pant is the perfect pant for both of those needs.
I love these pants. I tend to get hot and sweaty even when it is relatively cool outside. These pants breathe well and dry quickly. The pants provide comfort an protection when I’m hiking around in areas with poison oak. I appreciate the fact that they don’t bind up around my legs as well.
The Klassic cut fits a little like a slim fit jean. They loosen the longer you wear them. Fits at or just below the waist. Great for guys who conceal carry and also pack the associated items like a tac light and knife. Zippered pockets on each leg are great for items like headphones or a folded bandanna/handkerchief. 34’s were too small in the waist for me and 36’s were too big. I typically carry IWB and 35’s are perfect for me wether I carry or not. Light weight, durable and the ventilated design works for me in colder or warmer weather. Dries quickly in the event they get wet. Slightly stretchy so freedom of movement is good. 3D and stealth pockets on the legs work great for a wallet or any size iPhone unless you have a bulky case. Great alternative to jeans. Great for travel, going to the range, or everyday wear. Don’t know that they’re rugged enough for extended hikes or mountaineering. Great pant.
Perfect travel/hiking combo pants. I was most comfortable with a 1" larger waist size than for most of my other pants. The crotch area seems looser and a little more billowy than all my other pants - something slightly odd about the appearance there, but very comfortable.
I have been wearing your Kuhl Liberator Convertible pants for years and needed to find a replacement now that they are not available. This model is a great replacement (without the convertible part). All the right pockets, great material, great fit and they look great. Everyday pants for me.
I usually wear slim jeans, but I got these pants for my summer job because a friend told me I should. These pants fit great, the legs aren’t too baggy (or slim), and they’re super light weight. I will definitely use these outside of work, because they look good and feel good.
I so love these pants. Working as an instructor on a Flightline and in a classroom setting, these are comfortable all day, and allow for easy moving around equipment/standing/kneeling/etc..with no problems. And, when I want to go hiking in the mountains here, I have 3 pairs to choose from.
Recently purchased these for my husband to try. Looking for something that would be good for traveling to and from Europe. While he has not worn them on the plane yet. He says the material is very lightweight and comfortable. He tells me he might need a few other colors. He is 6’5” 250 and wearing a 38/36 and they are not to short and stack just right with hiking boots.
