These belts are light weight, sturdy and simple. I love the adjustable cinch on the fly. The buckle is industrial grade steel but it doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t sit in my lap awkwardly. I love it. I have both black and brown.
This is another great product from Kuhl. The belt has a slight curve in the webbing which is a more natural fit than just a straight belt. I do wish that it was a bit wider maybe 1.75" or 2". The narrow belts aren't very good for any load bearing but overall I am pleased and have also purchased the black version. I bought a medium for a 34" waist and it is rather long but I trimmed it and burned the end to prevent fraying.
A typical good quality leather belt will last me about 2 years. I've had this Kuhl one for the last couple of week its already held up to few days in the backcountry snowboarding hiking and snow shoeing. Been wearing it casually since the trip. It's been great well see if it out lasts the 2 years of a normal belt at this rate it should
The Kuhl raid belt fits true to size. I'm 5"7 152 Lbs and have a 31 inch waste. I got the small size. It looks great on the Ryder pants. Easy on and easy off. Easily adjustable. Just another great Kuhl product.
My son is very active and being military appreciates tactical gear. He loves the buckle, overall quality and ease of use of his new belt to go with his Kuhl pants and jacket. I am now excited about items for myself.
The fabric used for the belt is thin. Might be fine if you looking for thin flimsy belt but I was expecting something more sturdy. Also, there is no keeper for the adjustment end so your going to end up reversing the buckle and have to tuck it in. Buckle looks awesome but you can tell it's pot metal and won't hold any serious weight. Other than that, fashion wise it's ok, I just had higher expectations.
I love the webbing and the buckle itself. The buckle is very well made and looks like it could hold up for years of use. I wish that I had ordered a small. I have a 33 inch waist and ordered the medium. The extra webbing is very long, but that's o.k. It's still a nice belt.
Love this belt. Funksional, fashion-able, and fün! The quick release also is helpful in those impulsive moments of spontaneity. I ordered a XXL for my 42” waist but in retrospect, next time I will order an XL due to excessive slack in the XXL. Unlike military issue web belts, I’m hesitant to trim the exposed edge without risk of fraying.
This is perfect, I have a little bit of a belly and this one does not bite into it. Quite happy about that. Have another 30lbs to go. I read some reviews that it does not fit through some of the pants or shorts. I have quite a few of Kuhl pants and shorts and they go through without issue. It was a very good decision on getting this belt.
High quality at a surprisingly modest price. The materials are top notch. The buckle is a bit bulky if you wear any type of kit over it (like a harness or utility belt). It will be my go-to for casual wear!
I purchased this belt because of the anatomical design of the belt and the prospects of a better fitting belt. Easy to see it’s well made and for me it does fit or curve around my hips better than a lot of belts, however the buckle while Kuhl looking is way to heavy and bulky. If I hang my pants up the belt will be on the floor in the morning. I can only give this belt a 4 star rating, I’d like to see a plastic buckle option and reverse the belt overhang to go under the belt and it would be a 5 star winner for sure. That said, I like this belt enough that it will get regular wearing. But if I’m traveling and I can only take the belt I’m wearing I’d grab one of my Arcades and head out.
Raid Belt - needs a mechanism to lock the web belt in the buckle
I do like the belt and the connection latch system. However; the webbing slips a bit and needs to be tightened a few times through the day. I recommend adding a latch or mechanism to lock the webbing once set. This is a common issue for web belts.
This is a great, lightweight belt with a great buckle on it. I honestly don't notice it while I have it and usually forget that I do. I wear a 32 in pants/shorts so I bought a size SMALL. Fits perfect. There's still enough room to make adjustments if needed. Now I just need to get one in another color!
Fits and looks good. Belt itself is nice and light. The clip is kind of funky on release and keeps sticking only half released so that I have to stop, push it all the way shut again, and try again more deliberately to get it to open. I think this might be more user error than design flaw.
