Loved the pants until I wore them for a little while. Even after washing, the inside seams scratched my inner thighs (and no, I don't have fat thighs). Will probably have to wear these only in very cold weather with long underwear. Could not imagine taking a long hike with these seams against my skin.
I love these cargo pants. In the past I wore North Face and Columbia for years. I don’t like the mesh pockets in them because my keys etc get caught. I came upon the Kuhl pants and I won’t wear anything else now. Great products
My mistake. I received the pants and realized they had the cargo pockets. I have worn one pair but just ordered two more pair with out the cargo pockets. I will keep the others but would suggest you explain the difference more throughly
I've been searching for the perfect pair of pants for Forest Inventory fieldwork in the tropics. I needed something that was rugged enough to take the extreme beating of bushwacking through dense tropical vegetation all day, flexible / stretchy enough to allow complete range of movement, light enough to keep me cool with temperatures in the 80's and 90's, and built with fabric that allows them to dry quickly and not hold on to large amounts of water. I'm stoked that I've found exactly what I was looking for. I decided to go with the SILENCR Kargo instead of the SILNCR ROGUE version and I'm happy I did. They are just wide enough to allow airflow to your legs but tapered enough to not feel like bell bottoms.
Great pants. Very comfortable, light weight, cool. Fits like they say. Love the phone pocket inside the cargo. Perfect position on the side of the leg...not too far back so you sit on the phone a little like the 3D pockets (can you move those forward a bit?). The front hand pockets are bigger than other pant styles which is great. No complaints with these pants but I really would like to have Kuhl make a cargo pant with the same cotton/synthetic blend as the Revolvr or KonfidantAir. Do you guys take custom orders? Or, can I join the design and test team? I'll give some suggestions, try them in real life, and give constructive feed back! :)
I am a huge fan of Kuhls pants and decided it was time for some new ones. Ordered the Silencers cause they were the only cargo option in my price range.
At first the fabric caught me off guard since I typically wear the Renegade pants. But wore them on a backcountry fishing trip and was really impressed with how light they are and the great temperature control. They don't dry as quickly as the renegade fabric but it was not an issue. Really happy with them.
I ordered one size bigger than I normally would, but I'm not sure it was necessary. But better to be a little bit big than too small.
these are really nice cargo pants. they have a decent stretch and they haven't snagged on anything at work. I find them lightweight enough to wear in summer at work but still very durable. love the quick dry water repelling element.
I bought these after looking for some good cargo hiking pants. So far so good. They have walked about 25km in the high desert with me and have been pretty comfortable and good. One thing I would say is that the waist is really true to size so if you are like me who hovers between 38-40 maybe opt for a larger size since although 38 fits me comfortable it can still press up on my waist at times.
I bought these as a quality alternative to 5.11 stryke pants for patrol. They’re perfect except that the color isn’t quite as true black as I expected. Otherwise they are the quality I expect of Kuhl products.
I love these pants, going to be a regular wear for me. Material is wonderfully light and comfy but not too thin and delicate. I would HIGHLY suggest maybe a heavy version of the Kargo made out of thicker and warmer material so they could be worn in colder/windier weather. I’d buy the whole stock!
Im confused on the size dept... I own the renegade pants slim fit 30x30 and they fit.. besides the ankle area. its like you can only wear them with sandals or flip flops because the ankle part of the pant will not go over shoes or boots?? I have order 4 pants in the past month and no luck. If I order full 30x30 size pants they are massively huge like I am swimming in them. If i order a slim 30x30 they fit but the ankles are always so tights that they do not go over boots or shoes, so they look super wired they wrinkle up the leg because they can't go over ankle of any shoe/ boot. I am 5-6" 140 slim and athletic.
I've been wearing Kuhl pants exclusively for over ten years as the full fit is perfect for me. I ordered these one size too big to allow for Winter layering. And they fit exactly the same as revolvers and Hilo cords that I ordered one size smaller at the same time.
