So Glad Merrell Brought This Design Back!!!
So glad these are back. Got my first pair of Chameleons about 4 years ago with the Chameleon Prime Stretch. Love those shoes and may be my all-time favorite. Merrell changed the design quite a bit with the Chameleon 7 Stretch. The 7 is ok, but heavier, bulkier, and tend to have an odd squeak when walking.
The new Chameleon 8 Stretch is a step back towards the previous designs. Lighter, less bulk, etc. True to size, very comfortable and unique style. Will say that the sole and the insole is a little thicker than the old Prime, but not nearly as thick n bulky as the 7. Love the bungee type laces, the stretch sock like liner. So happy that Merrell took a step back to a design that was so good in the past.
