The sole is already worn down with holes in it. They don't get excessive use, just everyday wear. Less than 6 months use at this price point is ridiculous. Previous versions didn't have this issue, and I loved them. If you try wearing these on pavement they’ll wear off the first time. This is my first pair and I wish I had tried these before the redesign. For my foot, after a long day, I get a little fatigued on the outer side of my mid foot region. I’ve also put a lot of miles walking around the streets of Europe and these held up well and were comfortable.
