The Summit Leather boot provides all traditional Muck benefits yet with an improved fit and elevated comfort. The hiking boot features three layers of comfort and support with a PU insole, neoprene Strobel and EVA midsole for enhanced comfort. The neoprene Strobel acts as an added layer of warmth to avoid heat being lost through the bottom of the foot. It also minimizes the break-in period with its soft pliable material, and Primaloft acts as an additional insulation package that is breathable.

Being a 12.5 wide foot it's hard to find anything that fits in that size. These at least came in the 12.5 size, but the width just wasn't quite there for me. It would've been nicer to see that on the site but was unable to locate. Figured I'd take a chance on them anyways to see, hopefully they will stretch a little as they get worn. Other wise great looking boot, minus the slight tightness on the foot it does feel good. I need to get used to the 10" height as my calf wasn't too happy driving around in them, but some light walking they felt good. The real test will come in my next hunt and how they perform there. will update review afterwards if I remember to.
I was somewhat disappointed my Muck Boots are really comfortable and I can wear them for extended periods. My Summit Boots aren't comfortable at all and hurt my arches after several hours. not any padding in the bottom for comfort.
Though the time I used these I went ice fishing in -20°C (which, these boots are definitely not made for this) they were surprisingly warm. Very comfortable boot. I bought these boots for September to early December hunts and can definitely see these boots perform well during this time.
Wasn't sure what to expect of a lace-up hiking boot from a company that has historically made rubber Wellington style boots, but decided to give them a try for the upcoming winter hunting season. As the title states, I was pleasantly surprised. I am located in Phoenix AZ, and was unable to wear, or "break-in" these insulated boots prior to my hunting trip. Was only able to quickly try them on to ensure a proper fit (fit true to size). Once I arrived to the snow covered mountains of North Eastern AZ I put my new Summit Lace 10" boots on and immediately could feel the warmth of the 800 gram Primaloft insulation. Hiked around the snowy mountains for 4 days and had comfortably warm feet with great traction. I didn't have any irritation, blisters, hot, or cold spots. I was so impressed that I am now considering the Muck Boot Summit Lace 8" non-insulated, waterproof boot for all other hunting conditions. Thanks for the great product Muck Boots!
Have purchased and worn a lot of boots in my time. These are by far the best overall boot. Wear these the most out of all my boots. Have the summit 8" as my early season boot and these as mid-late season. I do have a pair of extreme temperature rated boots for anything in the 20's or lower. So glad Muck produced a great lace up hunting boot.
I got these for hunting and so far they have not disappointed. they have kept my feet warm and dry in everything from mud and rain to snow and sleet so far. They are also comfortable right out of the box no need to break them in.
Purchased these for the 2019 winter season so haven't used these in anger yet as only October. They fit well (got my actual size) and feel light and good quality so looking forward to trying these out when the temperature drops and the snow is on the ground
The first time I wore these I went on a 2 mile hike and was amazed at the comfort and feel even without break in. Since I’ve gone on multiple hikes and they just keep getting more comfortable. The fit is perfect for me and the stability on the trail is top notch. Waterproof but they feel like they breath well. Highly recommended.
