Just back from three days in my new muck boots!! My new best friends when it comes to tough conditions in the field where a light and durable boot is required ! Easy on and off! Perfect for to my style foot! Go perfect with my KIUI garb!! Highly recommend these boots for deer pheasant or turkey hunting ! Can’t go wrong
These were bought for winter use so it will be some months before I wear them in cold conditions. But having examined the boots I am sure they will do a good job. They fit well and are comfortable to walk in. The neoprene and fleece lining suggests they will be very warm and the quality of construction looks to be good. So far so good!
My Woody Max Boots were purchased in 2009 and are still going strong! When the lockdowns started and school (I am a teacher) was closed, I began a wildflower photo project and started wearing my boots DAILY to trek into the woods, fields, and ponds in my area (I'm at Day 111). During the past 111 days, my boots have taken some serious abuse -- two copperhead strikes, water immersion, and a drop from the back of a 4 wheeler. It was only after Day 95 that my 11 year old boots sprung a leak (repaired with aqua seal). My Mucks have been indispensable throughout my adventures. BTW . . . These boots already had some serious South Louisiana miles on them well before 2020! Thank you Muck Boot Company!
You stay out of briers, thorns, etc. This is my third pair. neither of my previous boots ever developed leaks, but the top camo fabric did tear and after about four years, the rubber did split at flex points. The price has risen 150% since my first pair. These do keep my feet warm and dry while treestand hunting, and wearing heavy wool socks.
After much debating which boots to order I decided to order a pair of these and I’m so glad I did. They have a decent sole on them so you don’t feel stones etc underneath, they are warm and comfortable from day one. The mossy oak pattern is different and better that just green or black. Order these and you won’t be disappointed.
My husband ordered a new pair of these boots because he really likes the quality, durability & warmth of the pair he has; however, in ordering the same size he found the new pair were too tight for comfort. Needed to send them back & will order a size up.
no just a pair of wellies !! have have some of the "best" wellies on the market at 3 x the price of these , i have quite large calfs so standard boots are never a good fit, unlike these! these are as good if not better , very comfortable even on long walks , warm and well fitting , need an extra pair of socks to just fill the over gap but no real hassle at all , the folding down of the side wall of the boot is a great idea , so much easier to get on and off, no need for some else to help !! well worth the money , yes they are expensive if you compare to a normal wellie boot , but these are not "normal " wellies , you get what you pay for in life , quality and comfort cost in foot ware , so make your choice !
Fit well, and feel warm. Have walked a few miles in them so far. Real test will be in the Spring Turkey season coming up. Last pair did well until the sole came off. I glued them back on for a while. Then never leaked over 4 years of abuse.
I have had these boots for 7 or 8 years now and have used them from ice fishing, late season goose hunts, and pheasant hunting. They have kept my feet dry and warm in temps down to -20F with the correct socks. In the last three years they have been my work boots. I’m a framing caprtenter and since I have been using them for work I have been beating the tar out of them. The toe cup and neoprene calf’s have slices in them. I have steps on nails to the point of full puncture but they still remain to be completely waterproof
I love the boots like all my mucks but the temp rating on these are way off. I know how to dress my feet but with these I’ve tried every sock weight and type combination possible and my feet freeze under 35 degrees or so. I don’t wear these in the truck driving to the hunt. I put on fresh dry socks and the boots when I arrive to avoid sweating. Nothing I tried works. Love everything about these boots but the purple toes after 3 hour sit.
Fits well, easy on and off.Only knock is that they are are not as warm as I had hoped. The older I get (70) the colder my feet get while sitting on deer stand. Someone said the artic muck boot might be warmer. May have to go with lacrosse alpha 1600.
