I've had these for about 5 months. I noticed immediately that my endurance decreased after rotating out of the Epic Flyknit II which were my all time favorites. I only got these because the Epic React had all girl colors for men. Also, the bottom of the shoes are all worn and the front rubber part is dislodging and I only run 9 miles per week. I'm just dissatisfied.
I’ve had Vomero 10’s, 11’s, 12’s, and now 13’s. In reading reviews I was concerned that my favorite running shoe had lost its mojo. However, after trying them on in the store and subsequently buying them. I must confess that these just might be the best Vomero’s yet! I mean I freakin love these shoes! So comfortable I have zero pain! Keep up the great work Nike!
This is my third version of Vomero and least favorite. The best thing about this version is the look. The fit for me is not as good, doesn’t have as plush a feel as the last version, and they squeak, which drives me crazy. After wearing them for over a month I was hoping to like them a lot more than I actually do
I bought Nike shoes for decades but then switched to Asics/Brookes for a few years as Nike didn't have anything for stability and cushion that looked and felt good. This shoe is my first Nike in a while and I am pleasantly surprised. It's also held up quite well (going on a year now).
I do wish I had bought the wider models as the shoe runs pretty narrow.
Simply stated: this is an awesome shoe! For any training run 5 miles or longer, or any hilly course, this is my go-to shoe. The cushioning is unparalleled: soft and forgiving, but NOT "mushy." The forefoot is also well cushioned yet responsive. It's a perfect blend for the hills where I live which necessitate a comfortable toe-off, while minimizing loss of power when the ground tilts up. Since what goes up, must come down, it's great that the heel cushioning does a superb job at absorbing the added shock/compression that occurs when running downhill. I also love the roomy toebox, and the well-ventilated upper. This is perhaps my favorite all-time shoe!
