I bought 5 pairs of the Nike Combat Pro compression shorts, and with a year they were all busted, torn and in the garbage can. One by one the ripped at the seams (usually within 2 months). They were all the appropriate size, so that wasn’t the issue—they were just poorly—or cheaply—made. They all busted at the seams in the same place—which was the perineum area. I’m trying not to be coarse or vulgar, but one one one, each pair of the compression shorts would bust at the seams right in that general areal between the male genitalia region and the anus. I’m not sure how long these shorts are supposed to last, but none last longer than a few months (while wearing them 3-4x a week in that time). That’s pretty inexcusable, especially for the price. I have no ulterior motive and would never accept a free pair of this product. I just want folks to know they shouldn’t throw their hard earned money away on this inferior, clearly cheaply made product that has the lifespan of a Mayfly.
I believe I've been a Nike member for over half of my lifetime long time if you can't do the math
Okay I'm an older gentleman 64 trying to stay as well as get back in shape so I pretty much love and use Nike as my go-to Athletics everything pertaining to Nike as far as working out playing a sport skiing running I have I'm about to OD off of Nike if that might answer your question I love it keep doing what you're doing Nike
I love them. I was looking form something like this for a while and glad I checked NIKE. Order four, and will definitely order more to not only use to workout but also as every day underwear! I love the support and how breathable they are!
Purchased 2 pairs (Medium size). 1 black and 1 grey. Both pairs feel comfortable and fit well for casual and exercise use (as underpants rather than shorts). Around the Thighs do not ride up and stays put while exercising. I'm 5'5 waist 31. I would highly recommend these if you're looking to purchase.
I've recently switched to Nike over another leading brand. These compression shorts are sooooo much better. They are extremely comfortable and fit very well - I'm 6'2 and 250 - 2XL. No crotch creep, no legs bunching, no pouch chaffing or grabbing. The best part is the waist band, it is thick and wide. Every other pair of shorts or tights I have owned the waist band rolls and pulls, not these. The waist band stays in place no matter what I'm doing. I wear these for walking which averages about 30 miles per week, and I also wear them under tactical shorts and pants for hiking. I am a convert and you will be too. Great shorts, perfect fit, and a very happy Nike customer.
the nike pros are definitely a good investment if you live a physical or active life style , they’re comfortable for work , the gym, and even just a chill day they’re very tru to size but the con about them is they don’t come in enough colors! i currently have all of them so that’ll be the bummer. if you see a new color i’d definitely buy it while you can as they won’t be updated for a while.
These are very good compression shorts. They stay in place and are super comfortable IF you buy a size larger than you think you need. I first bought a medium but they cut into my leg and wait a little. I got a large and those problems were fixed.
I wear these solo to inline skate for cardio. Sizing tips: I'm about 5'7", 162 lbs. Size M fits like compression shorts; a good size for layering. Size L fits more comfortably, so I bought these in size L to wear them solo.
I've been working out, biking etc in these and by far are the best fitting, supportive, compression-type shorts out of 8 different brands I've tried. Hold up to tough workouts, the washing/drying, and everything else.
I followed the sizing guidelines and this still ran small. I am thinking of returning it or waiting to lose the weight to fit into it - I'm torn. I recall the old ProCombat gear was much more comfortable.
I've purchased several different brand running tights and these take the cake. Fit great, comfortable, perfect length, and most importantly they're not see through like most of the others I've bought. I prefer running in just tights but with most they're some what transparent and/or simply don't have enough fabric to cover the goods. I'll be buying a few more of these in the very near future.
Only complaint is the logo placement, not sure why they don't place it on the outer leg vs the front/inner depending on your thigh size. Merely cosmetic preference but worth pointing out.
