These tech fleece are nice at first but after wearing them for a little over an hour they stretch and get saggy so that slim fit when first putting them on becomes an MC Hammer look shortly after. I would size down but I’m not sure the waist would fit me then. Otherwise these are comfortable joggers.
I am 6’-3” tall with a 38” waist. I wear 36x36 in jeans. Weigh 202 lbs. The Large Tall are a perfect fit. Cuff sits just above the ankle with a little slack left for shrinkage. I wish Nike stocked larger quantities of Tall sizes as they go so fast. These joggers are legit!
I can't understand how people are complaining about these running big, or not being as good as the previous model. These are great. And deliver the feel and quality of Nike tech. Though they may fit a little bigger than the previous model, these are still slim fit. And not baggy like how everyone exaggerates. These are great and I already purchased several pairs. And I own several pairs of the previous models as well. Love Nike. Top brand out.
This product like most Nike apparel was top notch. My only complaint was that the color in the pic was not the color that arrived. The color described was probably correct, but I just assumed that I was gettin what I was looking at. In the end, it worked out and still matched my jordan retro easter 12s and white and legend blue retro 11s.
Bought the joggers for my son along with the matching zip up jacket for Christmas. Soon after wearing little pills were noticeable all over the pants. Had to use a fabric pill remover to remove them... they are very stubborn, what a pain! Then a small slash in the fabric appeared then a few more all over. Tried to keep washing at a minimum and very careful to use in cold water and hang dry.
I have several of these outfits a few from this year linenup (2020-2021) and a few from 2018. The new lineup definitely is a lot bigger and I like how it fits. Being a bigger guy like to feel comfortable and these definitely fit better than the previous models. However Nike where is the top to these pants. Please repost or make more. I have the pants and need the top!
Some things should be sacred. Tech fleece had reached that signature level in my mind. Have a version from 2-3 years ago which I love. Re-upped and this iteration is a terrible fit by comparison. Very baggy around the knee. Drop crotch is weird and "tents" in front. Less form-fitting overall. Side zipper pocket feels smaller and further back on the leg, making it harder to access and less interesting as a visual detail. Not speaking to durability yet as I've only had these a couple of months, but in terms of warmth the material feels substantially thinner. Should've returned them ASAP. If you like the previous styling, hard pass on these.
Do not buy! I used to have multiple pair of Nike tech joggers in the past and these new ones are way too baggy! I bought mine in January and due to covid I was not allowed to try them on, so I took a gamble and bought them anyways, come to find out that they’re way different then the old tech joggers, baggy! Unfortunately for me, I figured if I wash them they will shrink but that was a no go! Now I’m stuck with 110$ baggy tech joggers that I don’t even use! Nike does this all the time, they never stay consistent with fit ever! 110$s in these times makes me upset! DONT BUY!
The previous versions of these track pants have been fantastic in terms of fit/sizing/ comfort. However, this edition is a big disappointment from a sizing and comfort perspective. What’s really strange is that the thigh area is too wide, and the waist band is waaay to tight. The proportions are really strange, because I feel like the legs are too baggy and then it sits uncomfortably on my waist. Like it actually hurts my stomach to wear these track pants.
Been buying tech fleece pants for years and enjoyed the slim cut. This new cut is way too baggy, so had to return. I know everyone has gained some weight during the pandemic, but this new cut aint it. Won't be buying these until they revert back.
I don’t understand where all the negative comments coming from but if you ask me the sweatpants aren’t too big from the first versions you just have to get them a size down. As far as the sweat pants being baggier in the thigh area, they always had that taper fit. Luckily I read the reviews before purchasing because I knew I needed to get my tech joggers a whole size smaller.
Hey guys. Purchased a new pair after wearing the very first version out, then purchasing two pairs of the next version (which I absolutely loved, thought it was the closest a jogger could get to perfection), and was pumped to receive this new pair this morning. However, when I tried them on, I immediately realized why so many people here were writing reviews about the new fit.
The fit is completely different. This seems like a whole separate model from the previous version, which was thicker, stiffer, actually "tapered", and felt perfect. As for this one, the hip~knee portion runs much much larger, creating this weird boxy fit that I'm not liking at all so far. For this one to even look remotely similar to the look of the previous version, you have to pull it all the way up to your waist, which is not how I wanna roll.
Idk, I'm really not digging this one, and I have absolutely no clue why Nike made this drastic change. It makes me wonder; if they were to change the fit so dramatically, and if they were aware of the fact that people found the previous version's fit great, why didn't t hey just make two versions of the joggers?
Bottom line: I don't think I'll buy another pair of these if Nike's going to keep this fit. They definitely ruined one of my favorite pieces of clothing, and I can say with confidence that this change was a huge step backwards.
This tech fleece jogger style is the worst I have seen. The past 2 versions were pretty much perfect for me and why they would change the design so drastically is beyond me. I ordered a Small “for a more tailored fit” and they still looked horrible. The knee part of the jogger is super wide and makes it look weird. Change the fit back!
Compared to previous years, the way these pants fit are absolutely awful. Makes them look like a pair of fake tech fleece! I will not be purchasing a pair until they revert to their old design and fit, because these are really just that bad.

If you want to wear these on your hips & still have them be slim in the thigh like the versions from the past couple years you will be disappointed. I would consider this iteration a mid/high rise that is intended to be worn on the waist.
The other reviewers are 100% correct that these do not fit like previous versions BUT I'm not too upset about it. I own multiple pairs of these joggers & have worn them nearly everyday either running errands or throwing them on as soon as I get home. The pair I purchased in 2019 was MUCH stiffer in the waist/thigh than the previous size smalls I own. I have bought 1 pair every year & all of them fit slightly different. This new version does seem softer & not as stiff. Hoping that does not effect longevity as I've had the black pair in the picture for at least 5 years. Check out the picture to see the difference between & this years small & previous years. All in all I'm happy but I understand why people are upset.
The navy pair on the bottom is 2021 & the black pair on top are from 2 years ago.
I received these as a gift & they were my favorite joggers. Unfortunately, they have begun to come apart in both the crotch & the right pocket. It appears to be a stitching issue & since I received them as a gift I can't return without an order #. If these were more durable I would recommend them to everyone. As it, don't purchase unless you're comfortable with $100+ joggers falling apart on you.
If you've buying these because you love the old versions like my husband does, you'll find that the fit has been drastically updated. The description says slim through the thigh, but the old versions are a true slim fit and are fitted. These are quite baggy and have too much space in the legs and hips. Such a shame! the old ones were perfect and he owns 5 pairs. Even when these are sized down, it's still not quite the same. Sounds like other reviewers experienced the same.
I have never wrote a review before in my life but these pants are the worst so I had to. When I bought the previous model of the tech fleece I fell in love with them and I wore those pants for everything because they were so versatile and lasted a very long time. They were the most stylish pair of joggers I ever had and I didn’t have a problem with paying the price for them because they were worth it. But with this model it feels like it’s an ordinary pair of sweats because they are too baggy and are not versatile. This model doesn’t have that sleek look like the previous version. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the previous model but y’all changed it and downgraded completely. And it’s even worse that the previous model is not available anywhere. Some people may prefer this newer model but most people prefer the old one. At least make both versions available.
I've always Tech Fleece pants for everyday wear and sometimes to the gym. I love the skinnier fits Nike used to have for the pants but these new pants are just too baggy. If you're a bigger guy, these should work for you if you get your true size. But if you're a skinnier or athletic build, def size down or size down twice. For me, I wore a medium in the skinnier fits but bought a small in these. The small still fits kinda baggy. So i'll be purchasing a XS
Gen 1 and Gen 2 of the tech fleece joggers were a perfect fit in a size small. These Gen 3 models are huge but they are considered “slim-fit” which is odd because it’s more of a baggy fit and I wear a small (5’6” 165 lbs). Personal opinion: I suggest that you size down. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the joggers are amazing but Nike messed up on the fit.
I think everyone knows how great Nike Tech fleece has been but it’s the “-Tall” sizes that’s really made the difference for me. I’m 6’2, I don’t want everything to break above the ankle or are high waters after I mistakenly dry them. L-Tall or M-Tall for the pants are great length, just depends on the look/fit I want.
