Love the shoe. Have it in gray. All my hikers now are OBoz. However the laces are too long on my size 9’s for my foot. Don’t want to keep triple knotting. How long are the laces in this model as I need to buy some laces that are maybe 5-6 inches shorter. Thanks, great products!
Man, I really wanted to love these shoes. Really like my bridgers but wanted these for easier hikes and just general outdoor wear. They check so many boxes for a casual hiker you can wear to work or around town but still be ready to head out for an easy hike. Great looking sneaker design: no weird gimmicky color schemes, just nicely colored suede. Grippy tread design. Oboz insoles for excellent arch support. A bit more relaxed fit than the more heavy duty Oboz shoes but still anchor your heel well while giving a bit extra width in the front.
Unfortunately the seam where the tongue attaches to the upper is prominent and with each step it digs into the top of my toes and is quite annoying. Too bad, as I like everything else about this shoe, but will be sending these back.
I bought these shoe just recently. Wow I live them. I should order 2 or 3 pair before the get switched, changed or discontinued. The are super comfortable, roomy toe box which I can rarely find.no foot fatigue so far. And it has a toe cap. Which for the work I do is a must. Keep up the good work. If you are on the fence about these shoes. Buy them.
The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. And I have tried them all. I encourage OBOZ to venture further into this casual styling. I want to wear them every day. If more offers and stylings I would buy them and wear them..
Amazing Comfort but unfortunate wear with custom orthotics.
These shoes are probably one of the most comfortable I've ever worn. They fit about a half size larger than most (I'm usually a 10.5 but found the 10 to be plenty). They are wide in the toe box which is always a great thing. So far I have owned them for 2 months and they have stayed super comfortable the whole time. My only issue and reason for this review is to warn people who wear custom orthotics. I wear a custom insole and found that because the heel is raised maybe a few mm higher it will wear the material in the heel of the shoe super fast. For only wearing them at work (not walking much) the heel is already worn through to the padding, making it pretty uncomfortable to wear every day now. It's a shame because they cost a lot and will now only be taken out for shorter outings!
I bought a pair of these in the Canteen color. I liked them so much I bought another pair in the charcoal. If the store I got them from had the other colors I'd get them too! They are very comfortable and look great with khakis, jeans or whatever else I find to wear. I use them at work in the office, around town with the family, or just about anywhere. You can't go wrong with a pair of these.
Only got the shoes last week and they look and feel great. I already have a pair of Bridger Low which I use for more rugged trails and these feel just as well put together. My local walks include tracks, fields and tarmac and these are perfect as well as matching up great with jeans for everyday use
So far so good 13mile walk around Edinburgh today ( street, river path , rock and grass ) normally use a super feet insole but used the Bozeman shoe straight out the box and they felt fantastic. I’d say I’ve got a fairly wide foot and had a good fit with lots of adjustment available with a good depth of lacing track. Grip on rock felt great as did mud. Walking on average 11 miles a day I am looking forward to seeing how they last compared to other footwear I’ve been using.
These look like a new release for Fall 2020. I happened upon them at my local REI store and couldn't pass them up. I couldn't find any reviews online so I thought I would share my thoughts. They look amazing and have just the right amount of "hiking shoe" to be good on the trail or working on the site and great around town. The Leather upper is A+ and the grip of the outer sole is the perfect hight. They are a little stiff to start out but breaking in just right. Don't know much on how they will hold up over time so I will have to wait and see on that but Oboz are usually quality. Plus REI has a 1 year no questioned asked return policy if needed. My review (and I over research everything) if you are looking to buy, GO FOR IT they are awesome.
