Thanks to Oboz I have 3-pair. I have a pair of the last gen Kats that have 500 mikes on them that I use for yard work but this new gen is amazing. The fit is more firm fit and supportive with a little extra 2nd toe room in my size 10. 5r. The shoe breaks in on your first wear and is super comfortable. There is a few mm of heel drop to toe which is perfect for my heel strike. The absorbing layer is just right. I use the trail insoles for heel stabilization and these are the perfect trail hiker. I also have a pair of This shoe in the mid GTX for weather but the regular LT is more comfortable for everyday walking and hiking.
