Product Description

As with any wild animal, confrontations with snakes should be avoided to ensure personal safety. That's why we've designed The Rocky ProLight Waterproof Snakeproof Hunting Boot. They will protect against most North American snakes; including rattlesnakes, copperheads, and coral snakes.
There are sixteen inches of snakeproof protection on these hunting boots. Additionally, a full-grain leather trims the Mossy Oak camouflage nylon, a material that reinforces the Guaranteed Rocky® Waterproof construction. So your feet will stay dry in any condition.
With each step, the ProLight BioMech outsole provides traction on rugged terrain. It's made of a PU/Rubber outsole, which is an added layer of defense against soggy feet.
Our snake proof boots feature everything you need to stay out of harm's way.
Because this boot is unisex sizing it, can also be sized to fit women. Please refer to our size chart for women's sizing.

They saved me a time or three
I bought a pair to dig herbs in back a few years back. Well the first trip out I had the new boot break in and it wasn’t horrible. Well the next day I walked around 12 hours. Through streams, over rocks then I felt something hit my calf. Looked down it was a 2.5-3 foot rattlesnake. Hanging on my boot. I been hit three times never been bite. All by rattlesnake I love the boots I have close to 900-1000 miles on these boots well worth the money.

Not Waterproof
I bought them lastbyear. Used them for the summer. December was the first time I had used them in wet conditions. One foot got soaked. I contacted Rocky last week. They said they are out of warranty. I think not waterproof is a pretty big fail and am disappointed in that decision.

Muck boots never seem to last me more that 3 months total. Running a cattle farm is hard on a boot and puts a strain on a rubber boot to hold up. I was looking for something warmer, tougher and more comfortable. I will have to say these boots are all three of those things. They take a beating and still feel good on my feet.

The Perfect Boot for Chilly-Cold-Wet
I have flat feet with bunions and a hard time finding comfortable shoes. Bought these in WIDE for work around my farm and horse caretaking. First, they are SO comfortable WITH the Rocky's foot bed insert. Normally I have to use one of my expensive ones. THEN, they are perfect. No more dirt and debris getting down into my socks and foot. You can wear a thin sock or thick and either way - comfort.

They slip on-and-off easily and yet if you want to really lock them down for some hard work you can do that too with the laces. I did use a boot insert for the first several days as the ankle area wanted to fall in and rub. That worked and have not noticed since and have worn these boots every single day for a month now.

I bought these boots as an all time woods boot, deer hunting in the hard woods, turkey hunting in a field or duck hunting in the swamp. And I wanted a water proof snake boot that was tall, so I bought these. Well I was in the swamp today putting up a climber and I stepped in about ankle deep water for about 15 minutes and both boots were soaked in the inside. They are a great boot and very comfortable but as far as waterproofing they are terrible. I’m going to continue to wear them but put a waterproof coating on them, I just love these boots they just aren’t water proof.

ROCKY is a well known quality based boot company thats been around a long time and people can trust the products they make
Comfortable , ruggedly made boot , I think Rocky boots are good quality footwear to have in your hunting gear ,as far as longevity we shall see how they hold up cause I'm pretty tough on hunting boots but I'm sure I'll be pleased with the performance .

had these boots for 5 months now . side zippers do not zip smoothly nor easily from day one . tattered outer material had to be trimmed upon first use to prevent getting stuck in zipper. Top overlatch not long enough to keep zip handle from being exposed .Overall boot is bulky and difficult to pull pant leg over so if pant is tucked , plant stems , broken grass, and briarstems work way into boot. Years back I put many miles on 2 different lace up Rocky snakeboots that wore much better .

Not worth the money!!
I bought theses boots at a Big name chain store here in the south. Paid $125.00 plus tax in November 2018. I wore these for deer season 2018-2019 about 5 times to and from the stand and then they were put away with dead down wind boot powder and each boots put in a 2.5 gallon ziplock bag. They were put in the closet. 2019-2020 deer season they were worn about 8 times to the stands/ shooting houses. At the end of the season in January 2020 on the last day I was hunting it had rained The day before. Walking down the path across the food plot my right foot got wet. When I left the stand on the way back to the SXS my right foot was wet again. Upon inspecting the boot the soul of the boot had came un glued ... Something that cost this much should last more than a dozen of times into the woods. I now have seen this is a common problem with these boots. Just buy the cheaper brands and you get the same results but can buy another 2 pairs for the same amount.

Very Durable and Comfortable wearing
I purchased the Rocky Waterproof Snake proof Hunting Boot 1570 about 6 years ago. I ware them 3 to 4 days a week. They are very durable and comfortable walking in all day 16 to 20 hours. I spend a lot of time walking in swampy wooded snake country clearing out underbrush and out and about in town. I love the Light weight and the protection they offer while working in thickets. No encounter counter with cottonmouths or copperheads hope to never have to find out. But I love working in them and not worrying so much about where I am stepping. They are still in good shape and starting to leak when walking in the rain so I just purchased a new pair online from Rocky because the local store does not have them. Would love to see data on the snake strike to these boots the toe area seem a little thin. But I have not had any Big Bad thorns go threw so hope fangs don't. Love these Boots don't stop making. I hate slip on and side zippers.
