Waterproofing is great! Pant is kinda loud, like a wind breaker material and the fit is weird, For me it was really lose and felt like it was falling down in the waist, but really tight on the thighs. and not very flexible. Didn't get to use it much this season, but I hope it gets better because the water proofing is ideal!
Nice pants but not exactly what I was looking for....
This was a good quality product but not exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a pair of waterproof briar pants for upland bird hunting for my son. These were stiff and heavy weight - more like kids snow pants.
I believe these are some of the best upland pants out there at this price point. I have two pairs and put alot of miles on them every year. The only thing that I would change is the pockets. The pockets seem to catch all kinds of grass and are not easy to clean out. Not sure why they didn't just put a regular pocket on them.
These pants are waterproof the are made to fit someone that is extremely heavy. Maybe an elephant was used to decide how wide to make the legs of the pants. Rating a two because they are water proof but the fit is terrible.

Have found them to be as advertised. Especially like the waist design which allows great adjustment/fi and the zippered legs with snaps. No complaints...they are well designed.
Bought them for my mtn lion hunt was told they would be great with a base layer on under them so i put on a light thermal legging on under i froze my butt off today in them. Wind was blowing through zippers soon as i got out of the truck i was feeling the cold air. As long as i was hiking i was ok. They are really noisey aswell everything else seem to be ok about them

10/10 would buy again
I wore these pants for a 3 day early season hunt in South Dakota. The first day was 59° and the pants were very comfortable with the vents open and no base layer. The next two days were <32° with snow. The pants held up great. I wore a thin base layer and was perfect while walking. The pants did well to repel the snow and my legs stayed dry. These are the best priced waterproof/wind proof pants I could find and they performed wonderfully.
Second pair I’ve owned in 15 years. Love the long leg zippers Nd the hip vents that allow heat to escape on long walks. I have told friends in Texas that these pants are perfect for quail hunting in West Texas. Highly recommend.
Changed the number of different sizes. VERY DISAPPOINTED,
Returned them. For some reason they now only come in 31 and 33 inch inseam. Very disappointed in Scheels decision making on available products, they had a great product here and it will only work for a portion of the possible consumers. Why did you change this?
Previous purchased this same pant and wore during rugged upland bird hunting conditions/weather last year -holding up great after one year, purchased additional pair this year for another family member.
They are very nice pants. Well made and appear to be comfortable. However I have to return them. They are way to long. I'm a short person and the shortest pant leg is 31" which makes the pants gather between my knees and ankles more than I am comfortable with.Would like to see a shorter version available. PS- great expandable waistband.
Great product! This is my 3rd pair and I have not seen anything on the market that compares. What I love is 100% waterproof & wind proof, low resistance lining for lifting your leg, side vents for hot days, pocket design and rubber waist band. I wish I could get them without the leg zippers as they add weight & resistance to cover and cost. Who is going to take their pants off or on with your boots on anyway? It looks bad and the snaps don’t stay snapped and eventually fall off.
Exactly what I was looking for. These pants are actually water proof vs water repellent. Also the side vents are a nice feature. These are the best priced water proof pants I could find. Cables doesn't make there water proof dry lock Upland hunting pants any more and other brands were way more pricey . can not rate durability as I just got these at Christmas but I usually go through a pair of hunting pants about every three years so will have to see how they hold up.
Highly Recommend this product. Lightweight, yet durable material that creates a ton of flexibility when moving. Great Upland hunting pant. Won't buy anything else every again. Waist is adjustable as well which is nice.
I had an older version of these upland pants for about 8 years. After miles and miles of walking in heavy cover the edge of the pant cuff started to fray. I looked for a new pair at the store but was told they didn't make them anymore. I found them online- they are slightly different design as far as the waist line but still have snaps and zippers on the pant legs so I can access my boots. They also still have side vents that zip open on the hips to allow some air circulation on warm days. The pant legs are wide and allow lots of room when I am high kneeing through thick cover. I put my first pair through torture and will keep them for backup for my travel hunting trips that are wet and muddy. These pants are durable-
These pants had all the features I was looking for. Fairly light garment, briar resistant material, buttons for suspenders. The only reason I did not rate them with 4 stars, is because the shortest inseam they came in was 30 inches and I wear about a 28 inch inseam. Because of the leg zippers and snaps around the leg cuffs, they can not be hemmed. Fortunantly the snaps around the cuffs will let me make they tight enough, where they will not drag on the ground.
