Love the jacket! Very warm and nice fit and feel. I bought an XL, sizing recommendation - I have a 40” belt line, 40” waist and 46” chest (actual measurements) and the jacket is big enough to layer over a hoody or mid layer like the Helio Hoody.
I bought this for a 4 day, 40 mile backpacking trip in January on the Rogue River. It was a little heavy/bulky compared to some competitors. It does look very nice and is very warm and comfortable. The pockets are placed perfectly above the hip belt. My forearms are a bit large and I was happy to find this wasn’t super tight on them like many long sleeves/jackets are.
Like a baby's fluffy security blanket, the Zenith jacket keeps the cold away, amd me all snuggled warm. The jacket has quickly become my favorite all around gonto piece. Pick yourself one up today. True to size, it is a little longer in the torso but not dress like.
The fit is as expected, and the quality is on par with the rest of SGs clothing line. I bought this to pair with my De Havilland jacket as a late season option. It’s the perfect solution to limit the amount of layers. Also a great piece to wear around town, it’s a great all around piece. The sizing is “true to size”, I’m 5’8”, 150lbs and the medium fits perfectly with some room in it
I just had this show up today, and I have to say, it’s awesome! It’s not a super heavy fleece, but is still warm and soft. The pockets are up high, making them perfectly situated for backpacking, though it does make them a little smaller. The longer tail will help keep your “crack” warm and covered when sitting or bending over, and the soft shell-like material on the inside of the collar will help those bearded guys, like myself, from feeling like our beards are always rubbing and snagging. Overall, it’s a great piece to add to your gear collection, and will look good going out and about! Also; I am 5’11”, 205lbs, athletic built. I wear a XL in all my Sitka jackets (mainly for shoulder room), but the L from Stone Glacier fits me perfectly!
