I've had this product before from couple of years ago but the ones that I bought just recently are not what I expected. Yes it will keep you warm and it looks good, they run smaller in size btw....But sorry to say I was very disappointed when the Under armour logo on the mock neck just simply snapped in half during my very first attempt to pull it over my head. That didn't feel good at all when you buy something new.
I bought two of them this time and the white one was fine and felt softer in material as oppose to the gray one which was on the stiffer side. I hope UA brings back its A game when it comes to quality.
I've been wearing UA since High School over 15 years ago. I loved playing in the cold gear now I love working in it. I was good enough for me on the gridiron now it still serves its purpose in my occupation. I'm a Correctional Officer and needless to say it gets cold in Prison. I do miss the stitched on UA logo but my uniform collar covers that part either way. They keep me warm and comfortable in an uncomfortable environment. I appreciate the craftsmanship and will continue to be loyal to a brand that has helped perform to the best of my ability. Thank you UA.
The mock under a T-shirt and a base 4.0 on top barely kept me warm in 45 degrees F. I have to say I feel let down. What will they do when it’s in the teens?
Used plenty of competitor gear, can’t understand while I didn’t switch sooner! You get what you pay for, and this is worth every penny!!
Only complaint, from being a top notch review, is I will the mock neck was about a half inch higher for me! Other than that, I’d strongly recommend this product to anyone trying to stay active in the brisk temps of winter!!
Love them. Awesome wear for cold winter weather. Bought large which is what I normally wear and fit skin tight which is exc2 more as ellent for cold gear wear. Would buy again.
I have several of these tops , The Best Base Layer Top on the Market to keep the Wind & Cold Away , Great Sweat Wicker !!!! My gear is used for Hiking and Biking !
Not the same as previous ColdGear® Armour Compression Mock
Ordered the same size as previous ColdGear® Armour Compression Mock's (2XL). Sizing has changed dramatically. Body of shirt has narrow/athletic cut fit to it. Sadly dissappointed.
The product fits and works great. My only concern is I would really like this in brown. I won't name the company but our uniform policy states we have to wear either white or brown shirts under our uniforms and white gets dirty too easily. Other than that, product works fantastic in cold weather.
Runs very small. Im normally a medium in everything ua sells. I have 2 other compression shirts in larges that fit great. This even in a large fits like a small medium. Proabably should have overeded an xl. Im 6ft 157 and the sizing on these are terrible
My wife and I each bought several of these for our golf trip to Scotland. They are really comfortable and great for warmth on cool and windy days. Really protects against the wind, even with a short sleeved short on. We took all sorts of gear for our trip. but these base layers were the best purchase we made!
I really like the fit of these. Under my gear for games or just for cooler weather under clothes. Either way they're great and goes through the wash well.
I own good number of the compression heat and cold gear products. I’d like to add my voice to those reviews reflecting the shorter mock turtleneck is almost like a crew and the cheaply made plastic UA emblems are not nearly as classy looking as the old sewn on type... I would think as a company under armor would want their garments to be worn until they wear out rather than until the finish items on them prematurely age and make the overall garment look cheap and worn.
It’s getting so I have to separate my brand new UA garmets from UA gear that are only1 to 2 years old because they visibly are that different. And by the way,I have high-end washing machines, aways dry on a hanger, and I’m very knowledgeable in clothing friendly washing machine habits
Shirt will keep you warm but after two washes all of the logos started to peel off. Older under armour products hold up better. New products don’t have the same quality in my opinion.
Purchased three of these in yellow. As soon as I opened the box, I was overwhelmed by a pesticide type smell. I opened the packaging of each shirt and the smell was all over the fabric. I ran them through a wash and the smell is still there. It's so bad it overwhelms the entire closet. This after a second wash. What's with this fabric?
I like the nice, thick and full fabric. Love the variety of colors. Well stitched together and VERY tough. UNDER ARMOR is however an ATHLETICS WEAR company. So why in God’s name are you not cutting your tops to an athletic fit?? Your tops are all tube-cut. Example: I am a 32” waist and a 44” chest. I have to order a 3XL in this shirt to fit my chest without binding my pecs. Once however I get to that size, the torso and waist are too lose around me. Worse even, there is so much space around what should be a fitted collar that you can see my white undershirt in the space in between my neck and the loose fitting moch neck collar. Really?? Now I have to take both of the shirts I ordered to the tailer and find a solution $$$. Under Armor! Stop trying to make your clothing so as many people (heavy or not) can “fit in to them” as possible. Start owning your identity and cut your clothing to the athletic, fit group of people who inspired your existence. That or, start a line of clothing for actually FIT people. Not those who simply aspire to be fit and are working hard to achieve that goal!
Very disappointed with the new style, Mock neck is extremely short it is more crew neck than anything. and the thickness is a little light, the cold penetrates this new style more than the previous version. Please UA go back to the last style with a high neck line.
Very happy with this purchase. Actually bought 2. Top length and arm length are longer than usual sizes, which is great for tall people. Nice material. Comfortable and tight the right places. Looks awesome!
I ordered an extra tall size , my height is 6'4 tried on and is way to small. Would not fit me. I had to give this to my sister who height is 5'9. You better order the cold gear fitted mock so it will fit you for men, not the cold gear compression shirt.
Worn this product twice and the leck logo is already peeling off. I dont know why UA went to this cheap logo. The old embroidered logo was the best and it never peeled off. UA why the cheap logo?
I have not yet worn this Men's UA ColdGear® Armour Compression Mock outside. It's quite snug. It's supposed to be snug. It's called "compression". Seems like the snug-ness and the non-cotton material will keep me warmer when I have to work outside in cold climates.
