Amazing mountain boot
Purchased these for an upcoming Elk season in the Sky lakes wilderness. Have had several high end boots, to include Kenetrek, Zzmberlain and Crispi... until this boot the Crispi's were the most comfortable out of the box. I am Very impressed so far with this boot. Still breaking them in but TOP quality build and moderately light weight (for a mountain boot) awesome support and comfort. As well as being totally rebuildable.

Whites have an awesome reputation and pair that with Scheels' customer support and return policy... order these and you won't regret it!

So far so good. A little hot, but they are comfy.

Disappointment
Purchased a pair of these boots and wore them around for the “break in” period before my hunt. Felt comfortable around the house. Took them on my elk hunt for 6 days in steep rocky terrain. The heel area of the boot has no padding. First day it rubbed my heel raw. Used bandaids on my heels the next couple days. Went on rougher hikes. The metal hook for the laces dig into my ankle when on any slope. By the end of the hike even flat ground hurts to walk on with these boots. . Should of just went with kenetrek.
