Wrangler® George Strait jeans are as classic as it gets. Taking inspiration from the 'King of Country' himself, George Strait Cowboy Cut® jeans bring a Western sensibility to our durable denim. They're tough enough to serve cowboys well in the rodeo, but their classic styling and comfortable fit make them a perfect choice for a special night out. Pair your Wrangler® Cowboy Cut® original fit jeans with a button-down shirt from the George Strait collection to complete your look.
I got a tear in the back pocket after a few wears but this is my favorite pair wrangler jeans ever thanks wrangler! even though it tore its the best wrangler jean
I've been wearing GS Wranglers since the day the came out, size 33x38 they always fit perfect for years. They were made in Mexico with US fabric. Now Wrangler has moved there production to Nicaragua and not using US fabric anymore. I have the tags too prove it. The fit is definitely not the same anymore. I had to order a 34 to be able to button the waist and the legs are huge. As a cotton gin owner in the US it is disheartening that Wrangler would do this. They just launched their Rooted collection a couple of years ago and made a big deal on using US cotton and textile mills and now there moving production across the waters. I can't even wear the jeans I've grown to love because they don't fit right and now the are not even using US fabric. Think it's time for me to move on a find a different brand. Thanks for nothing Wrangler!!!
Had to send back, legs way to large. I have been buying GS cowboy cut jeans for years at Rural King stores always fit very good, trying to figure out problem and then purchase more
These are junk. They're halfway worn out when you get 'em. Imported from Mexico, but poor quality despite where they're made. Traditional 13MWZ Cowboy Cuts are still decent and my "go-to" product. The George Strait's are over-priced garbage. My experience is based on the purchase of four pair, all of which fell apart long before the 13MWZ's.
I do not like the heavy over stitching of the Wrangler brand W with what appear to be horizontal stitching. It looks like the stitching is mistake and does look good to me. I will exchange them for another style.
These are the only jeans my husband will wear! He works in the fields and does his mechanical work on his tractors. These jeans are comfortable and allow him to move around!
Much rather buy direct than going to a store. Jeans aren't made to last, like they used to be, but Wrangler is still a better brand than others I've purchased.
I not recommend the George Strait Original Fit Jeans anymore
I have been wearing Wranglers since I was 14 years old and I was not happy when they moved the manufacturing plants out of the United States but still purchased them. Now the fit is not the same The Jeans are not even 100% cotton anymore the are using spandex in Wrangler Original fit Jeans, this was the last pair I will purchase unless Wrangler changes there ways.
I have wore them for every day for years for farm work.I was alittle shocked @ the recent $10 per pair price increase, debating about going to a different brand
2 weeks ago. I went to a local western wear show and bought these same jeans 36/32 fit great. Paid almost $70 for them. I then ordered some online, because of the price difference. Got them today and they lack 2 inches of butting. I am wearing the pair I bought local now. Quality control is very lacking.
I wear a size 32/38. These jeans run very small. I couldn't get them around my waist. I would suggest ordering a size or two larger than you what you normally wear.
I've worn these jeans for about nine years. Used to wear 13MWZ however as I got a little older these jeans seamed to fit better. They last and even after years of working and washing, these jeans still wear like new.
My wife ordered two pair of George Strait Jeans, size 36/32. The length of one was 33.5" from the inseam and was returned (cost $11.00 to return). We ordered a second pair - size 36/32 (the label said this on both of these jeans) and it was even longer than the first returned pair. I had to pay another $11.00 to return. I'm going to try one more time to see if I can get a pair that fits. I've ordered these for years and never had this problem before - Wrangler needs to pay attention to its quality control!
Nice and comfotable not binding and moves with you. Yes I wo
every day use, or going on a date, movies bar, line dancing; I wish it had a sprcial pocket for your cell phone, kind of like your carpenter jeans have, other then that great jeans.
This is the fourth pair of George Straight Cowboy Cut jeans I've purchased. Always considered this jean a superior quality at a slightly higher price - a good value. This pair fits tighter, and fabric seems thinner. Construction quality is still good. If I hadn't purchased a pair of Cowboy Cut Original Fit jeans at the same time, I'd judge maybe its just me getting a little rounder, but the Original Fit jeans are excellent. Very comfortable fit (for the same 40X34 size). I'll simply stay with Original Fit jeans in the future, and avoid the price premium.
Very good jeans I have slim and regular fit both are great. Durable look good I prefer the higher waist that these jeans have. Definitely plan to buy more George Strait jeans in the future
Both my brothers-in-law love these jeans. They wear them for their good jeans for awhile when they're consigned to everyday wear. When I don't know what to buy them for birthdays, Christmas, I order more jeans knowing they'll be appreciated.
It's hard to find relaxed, comfortable heavyweight jeans and these are the best on the market - including the oversized zipper handle which I love. They stay warm during cold winters and feel great indoors too.
Wrangler jeans look gorgeous , fit perfect on my 6'1 tall husband . Would not buy anywhere else or wear any other brand !! Very pleased with my purchases !!
I have been wearing Wrangler jeans for over fifty years and will continue to do so! I am an old cowboy that wears them in ranch work and likes the comfort and looks of western wear.
I have lost count how many pairs of these I have owned. Loved everything about them in the beginning. However, in the last year or so, the fit varies between the same size jean. At any given time I have 5-6 pairs I wear weekly. 50% fit the same and the other 50% are way too loose in the seat and legs from the thigh all the way down. I always grab the ones that fit like usual. and hate the days I have to wear the others. I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to try on multiple pairs of the same size jean to find the right one. We are men. We know our size and grab it and go. This is a quality control issues that hasn't always been present. This makes it impossible to order online and our local Farm and Ranch only carries a handful of the same size.
Beware. This latest run of GS Original Fit comes excessively loose. I ordered 31 x 30 and it fits almost like a 32 x 32. I had my tailor adjust the length and crotch. Both pair had the same problem.
