I have worn them in 3 different countries, worked in the oilfield with them, sat in -20 degree weather deer hunting in them, sawed and split countless cords of wood in them. The harsh chemicals and hot water constantly running over boots has broken down other pairs very quickly. My coworker has had the same pair of Xtratuffs for 5 years and they still haven’t shown any signs of wear in the brewery. I’ve only had mine for about a month but so far they are fantastic. I will revisit my review after a year of owning but so far so good. He customer service is also great, I originally ordered a size 10 and they were way too big so all I had to do was have a 3 minute phone call, print out the premade label, and ship them off. Within 5 days I had my size 9s at the door. So when I pull my feet out they pull against that seam. It’s eventually going to cause issues also not happy that they are made in China or outside of America for that fact. I can tell you from experience that this is a big brand in Alaska and they don’t like it being produced outside of America either. This really sucks because I really like these boots and I have for years but unfortunately I don’t think I will be a return customer.
