I always check at new saw, handheld or chop saw, for a square base to the blade. Despite the user’s manual clearly stating “the shoe has been adjusted at the factory to a 90 degree setting. Inspect the saw regularly……”, when I checked my saw the base to blade angle was off 2 degrees according to the bevel indicator.\nYes, there is a method of adjusting the base and blade angle. When I adjusted the saw for square, the bevel indicator (angle) is off 2 degrees with no way to adjust the jbevel angle indicator. WHY MILWAUKEE?\nIMO, I guess I’ll just have to paint this tool yellow and black and live with an oversight in Milwaukee design. It cuts great with a 6.0 or larger battery. With a 5.0 battery or smaller it seams to cut out real bad under the slightest bind. My older Milwaukee skill saw would power through with a smaller battery.
