Couldn’t pass up that deal even though I was concerned about the short handle and my man hands. I’ll tell you what, as soon as I got this knife out of the package my concerns were quickly dismissed. The handle feels great in my hands. The blade is razor sharp out of the package. \n\nI took this knife as my sole blade on a weekend camping trip and I was not disappointed in the least - I cut wood shavings, whittled, cut meat and bone for grilling, pretty much whatever you’d use a knife for when camping and this thing is still razor sharp after a week of moderate use. The blade is thin but this lends itself to keeping it lightweight and letting it have a needle sharp tip for piercing.
