Have had it for around 9 years, and it has come bicycle touring with me to Iran, Turkey, Georgia, and now over 3. 5 years of regular use on my bicycle tour of India. It has been bombproof. Have used it on my Dragonfly and Whisperlite (current) stores, and occasionally on wood fires. Extremely sturdy and well built, like most things MSR. What is exceptional is the long handle, which makes handling it so much easier, especially since you can keep the handle slightly angled while cooking if the wind screen around your stove is too high. I cook proper meals of rice, daal (lentils), veggies etc, and the handle does not get hot even after 45 mins of cooking. The long handle is abo great while cooking on a wood fire, where the heat is much more spread out. It is remarkably sturdy and stable, even with the pot full. \nI normally look and eat from the put itself, and don't have to pour. If you do pour holding only the handle, beyond a certain angle, the pot is likely to flip into the handle, and you may lose much of what you have cooked. I have been very happy with it. I needed something smaller for solo outings so I purchased the 775ml version. Nice packable size for solo use. Not part of my ultralight kit. I even made a pot cosy for the 1.1lt po for cooking rice and dehydrated veggies.\n\nI do have a suggestion though. What about making a version that is deeper and narrower. What I mean by that is more like the Titan Kettle so that it can safely fit on a Pocket Rocket. Once the handle is folded open it is unstable (unlike when I have it on the WindPro). I initially bought these for backpacking and general camping while I was going to school. They worked so well that I ended up using them for every day cooking in addition to any outdoor activity. They’ve been used over campfires, gas stoves, liquid fuel stoves, and even an electric range. I still have them and they work just as well as the day I bought them. I haven’t cooked any real meals in it yet, but I’m sure it’ll come clean like my other MSR pots. The handle is good, I don’t usually flame scorch my pots (hint they make steel wool for a reason). I don’t understand the “Uber ultralight need” for titanium, you’ll get more mileage from the stainless. The pot however looks like it's been through a war and I've only used it on two trips. I think the worst part of it is the handle attachment/ lockout. Once you've boiled your water in the pot when you go to tip it out the handle folds back on itself dumping out the water and the pot's contents. I liked my old MSR pot better, since it never caused me to lose a meal. The Locking System should look more like the one used on the Stanley cook cup, or something similar where it's locked in place. I had to experiment with bending out the tabs and trying to find The Sweet Spot between locking, and being able to open it to the lock position. I'm disappointed.
