My daughter wear's Kyrie basketball shoes for volleyball; she really likes the high top and how it supports her ankles. This is her 2nd pair of Kyrie's; this style ran small. We ordered the same size she had in her Kyrie 6 and ended up having to go up and an entire size. Her Kyrie 6 were 7.5 and we had to get an 8.5 in the Kyrie 7. Overall great shoe and we love the look of them.
I have a few pairs of basketball shoes that I rotate with and these feel nice and light. I only use them on indoor court. They show very little wear so far but they have not had many hours of play yet.
Shout out to the design team on this colorway, these sneakers look amazing, the pics do not do them justice. The amount of creativity that went into this design is much appreciated. I feel the these should sit on a wall and be admired as a work of art. Not sure how they hold up on the bball court, I will be wearing them for casual wear.
These are the most comfortable and in my opinion the best color way of the kyrie 7. The samurai ky a close 2nd- these shoes are awesome. I like the KY-D as well but I prefer the original color way oppose to the red and blk KY-D color way - Love these shoes!!! Super dope Extremely comfortable
Keep up the good work and you will continue to keep me as a customer 👍for life and my wife
I'm liking 👍that Nike is starting 👌to let it's members get their choice of exclusive products and not let all the bots take it all and us members lose all, be cause of that and the quality and value and good customer service 😉I will continue to buy and wear only NIKE GEAR!!!😎
The colors of the shoe are so vibrant and they look amazing together. Very comfy shoe, and fits very true to size. Would definitely recommend this style of shoe to anyone playing basketball or just casual shoes to wear around the town. Love this colorway and how they turned out. They arrived very quickly and no damage to the box as well, very happy about that.
Visually I love these shoes. Performance wise they are good but not a very durable shoe. I’ve been playing in a pair of Kyrie 7s for a couple weeks now outside and the outsoles are wearing down quickly and the upper feels somewhat flimsy. Overall a good shoe but not durable.
I’m very satisfied with Kyrie ( the green sneakers “weather” ones
I like the sneakers a lot they are very comfy. I just wish I can hit more often on the Nike “Dunks” or the OG Jordan sneakers. I been not hitting them in a very long time. Please let me hit more often because I tend to get them for me or a family member. Thanks!
The Zoom is there, but not plush. The traction is solid, but picks up dust. You’re good with a wipe. The big flaw is the shoe is clamped down on top of your foot right before your toes. This leads to great lockdown when you play, even when you loosen the laces upfront for much needed room. You MUST go up half a size. It does not make the shoe feel too long.
Overall 8/10. Could be 10/10 if they changed the rubber compound on the sole. Increase the Zoom feel and add React to the rest of the midsole. The forefoot lockdown should be controlled by laces and not the shape of the shoe. It’s also one of the best looking basketball shoes in recent years.
Great shoe for basketball players. The "Brooklyn Beats" are my favorite style personally. They are very light but durable, and don't get hot. I can tell there is a lot of ankle support and the shoe hugs the ankle, making it nice for quick adjustments on the court. 10/10 recommend!
I own a moving business and my favorite shoes to wear for work are basketball sneakers. In the 2 weeks I’ve had this pair, they have been great. It’s been a bit rainy here lately, and the grip is awesome, even when slippery. The design/look is great – I’ve received multiple compliments from friends and customers! The one downside is that they are a bit tight. I have them in my normal size, but might have sized up half a size for a more comfortable fit. I hope these will last, normally I will rip through the sides of the shoe (side near pinki toe) after a few months due to the nature of my job, but I’m hopeful these will hold up!
These are a great quality pair of shoes. They feel durable, yet lightweight. The sole is comfortable, has great traction and definitely gives you some extra bounce. They are brightly colored with a subtle design, but not too flashy. The only downside of this shoe, is that they seem to run narrow- I would order a half size up next time. While these shoes have not helped my basketball ability, I feel I can at least look the part.
I got these Kyrie's for my 13 year old son--his second pair. The colors are bright and great and he loves the look of them. They're definitely solid, well-made shoes that will last a while. They come with extra (blue) laces, which is great. He's been wearing them to play basketball and says they're perfect basketball shoes--really good traction. Unfortunately, the sizing is definitely small. He has skinny feet and could have easily worn a half size up from his usual size and maybe even sized up a full size.
These are a very nice pair of sneakers! Comfortable and well made; feel like they will last for awhile. Of note for shoppers - they run narrow. My husband doesn’t typically need wide shoes, but the regular width on these felt narrow on him. He also didn’t love the lacing and said it applied uneven pressure on different spots of his foot, but thinks that can be addressed by trying alternative lacing methods or potentially replacing the laces. Overall, he said these were comfortable and felt they held to the quality standard you expect from Nike!
The fit was a little tight, but I have borderline wide feet. Possibly would stretch out with continued wear. The quality felt high-end. The shoe is a little flashy for casual wear, but fun and edgy for exercise! I really liked the lightweight but well supported feel and would totally be able to rock all day!
I was completely blown away when I opened the box - these shoes look great! I typically don't buy shoes that are flashy or colorful, and these made me step outside of my comfort zone. It was fun! As soon as you unbox them it's hard not to notice the craftsmanship. They are lightweight, but feel solid, like you've got a lot of miles ahead of you in them.
The only downside is they're too narrow. Get past that (try a half size larger than normal), and you can feel the support, especially in the heel. These are VERY comfortable shoes. You can also tell the pattern/texture underneath does what they claim in terms of mobility. You can turn on a dime! It's almost as though someone with basketball knowledge helped design them haha.
Order these slightly larger than your normal size if you don't have a very narrow or petite foot and give them a try. They are worth the price.
A lot of my basketball shoes seem to be either overly built and heavy or light and flimsy. The Kyrie 7’s hit that sweet spot of being durable yet agile & light. I never feel like they’re going to fold or slip when I make a hard cut and they’re holding up great so far. I’m sold on the design too. I love that the back of the heel is high and flips back. It gives it a unique silhouette while also making it easier to put the shoe on. I mostly use these shoes for basketball, but they’re so comfortable and casual you could easily wear them with regular shorts, joggers or jeans. As with all my Nikes, I had to go up a 1/2 size. Overall, I’m happy with this shoe and would definitely recommend.
This shoe is stylish and comfortable for playing court sports. The shoe looks sleek and isn’t too terribly uncomfortable around the ankle. They allow for good traction and felt stable while doing quick stop and starts. I’d recommend these shoes.
First off, this is the first pair of Nike Basketball shoes I have owned in nearly 15 year. I have not had great experiences with the fit of Nike basketball shoes. That changed with these. I loved how this shoe fit. These exhibited a snug fit out of the box, but comfortable. I have worn these primarily for playing basketball. but they are comfortable enough that I can also wear them around for long periods of time. They are lightweight and laterally supportive. What it lacks in high ankle support, it makes up for in a wide stable sole that didn't want to roll over. It is a snug fit, and so I did not wear ankle braces with the shoe. If you normally wear ankle braces with basketball shoes, this may not be the shoe for you, as there is not a lot of extra space out of the box. The shoe did not feel tight, just snug. I have a wide flat foot and really liked the way the shoe fit.
I think the design is great. There are some little details like the sun and moon icons that I really liked. The colors are flashy, without being obnoxious.
Overall, my favorite aspect of the shoe was the fit and feel. The only thing that I did not like were the shoelace attachments. It feels like the shoelace attachment points could have been a little bit more flush with the rest of the shoe, they stick out a little bit. That is simply a personal preference though.
I have only had the shoe for a short time, so I cannot speak to how durable it will be, but there are no indications of premature wear so far. I have used the shoe to regularly play basketball on an outdoor court (concrete surface).
First impressions: Shoes look great. I like the colors (a royal blue with a bright orange sole) and the overall look of the shoe. I could see myself wearing these playing basketball or dressed casual with my favorite tee and jeans. However, after picking them out of the box, they feel quite stiff. The soles and the sides of the shoe are very rigid. Putting them on was also difficult and once they were on, they felt very tight around my feet. I normally wear size 10 and these shoes feel very narrow. After a few minutes of wearing these shoes, I started to get pins and needles on my toes. So I tried again with the laces untied-but still uncomfortable.
After I completely removed all the laces, this alleviated some of the pressure on my feet but not enough that I had to remove them after 20 minutes of wearing because my feet just hurt! Then I took off my socks and tried wearing them once again. Definitely a lot better, but who wears sneakers without socks? If I was at the store trying on these shoes, I definitely would not have bought them-maybe size up 1 whole size, but I didn't have the opportunity to do that. I rate these shoes a 3 out of 10, mainly for the look and colors- but these shoes were definitely not comfortable, or just ran narrow. Perhaps a more flexible and bendable sole would help make this shoe more comfortable.
Great Shoe for Basketball but Not an Everyday Shoe
The looks of the Nike Kyrie 7 are great. The shoe is lightweight and the materials appear to be very durable.
This is a basketball shoe however and I would not recommend it for everyday use. The traction and sole is not meant for outdoor use.
To me, the shoe was extremely narrow and after wearing it for an extended period of time was very uncomfortable. This again is probably great for basketball as it provides added support but not for an everyday shoe.
My husband recently got the Kyrie 7s and has been raving about them ever since we opened the box. One of his favorite features is the back of the shoe because it goes up higher and makes it easy to grip and slide his foot in, unlike other shoes he has worn in the past. Originally, he thought they would be a basketball shoe, but has been wearing them during the day because of how comfortable and lightweight they are. They are wide enough for comfort, but snug enough for stability. The shoe provides great traction on the basketball court. While playing, the tread of the shoe grips to the court very nicely and he never felt like he was going to slip.
The design of the shoe is very detailed and the print under the netting is visually appealing. You can definitely see the thought that went into designing these. The orange and blue on this specific shoe were a little bold for his liking and his main complaint was that he did not have a lot of outfits-casual or basketball, that would go with the colors. That is not stopping him from wearing daily! Overall, this shoe is highly recommended for both a basketball player, and/or someone who wants a sturdy, super comfortable, and well-designed shoe for everyday wear.
My husband loves a good pair of sports shoes. Especially a stylish pair that can transition from casual wear to workouts. Nike’s Kyrie 7 shoes definitely stand out from the crowd in terms of looks and performance. The bold design of this shoe can pair with workout clothes or jeans pretty easily. Their versatility makes them a good choice for trips when you are limited to how much you can put in your suitcase. My husband’s Kyrie 7s are a blue and orange combo. While he likes the blue, the orange is a bit too dull for his taste. He usually prefers a monochromatic, solid colored shoe instead so that it sleek and not too busy. This shoe overall is pretty comfortable and seems like it would hold up well over time. The inside is pretty cushioned and seems breathable (very important for workouts!) but the best part about this shoe is how lightweight it is. It really feels like wearing air, perfect for his pickup basketball games. A size 13 fits true to size, however the width is a little snug for his wide feet. This shoe is closer to a low top so your foot shifts around a little bit when active. It would be better if there was either a higher heel or a strap across the front to help hold your foot in place. It would also be nice if there was loop on the back of the heel to help you pull the shoe on (just personal preference). Overall he is pretty pleased with these as both a basketball and casual shoe, although a couple improvements could be made.
I really like the color and style of the shoe. The blue and yellow design is eye-catching and sporty without being too gaudy. I could do without the plastic pieces on either side of the laces though. At times I've felt them poking into the top of my foot.
The soles feel like you're walking on memory foam - super comfortable. They fit like other Nike shoes that I've purchased in the past: they feel like they run about a half size small and slightly narrow, and the toe box is a little small. I've worn them for a few HIIT-style work outs and some basic strength training, and they were comfortable with good ankle support.
Overall these are a quality pair of Nikes that I'd feel comfortable recommending to a friend.
These are the most stylish basketball shoes I own. Very comfortable & durable. I wore these sneakers all day there light weight. Not hard to put on. The design are amazing and the fit. You wont go wrong with these Kyrie Nike they def stepped up on there shoe game!
I normally buy running shoes but these shoes have me thinking twice about my next pair of shoes. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and very supportive. I would imagine these shoes will hold up for many many months but it’s hard to say after just having a few days.
I feel like I would be better protected in these shoes over normal running shoes.
My only downside is that the design of the shoe is a little too out there for me but if it’s your style this is a great shoe overall.
Right out of the box these shoes are the MOST comfortable I have ever put on (and I have more shoes than I’d like to admit, including J’s). I appreciate the extra laces, and have worn these all day, played basketball, done baseball practices and ran errands all day with zero discomfort.
They fit true to size but if you’re between two sizes go with the bigger. Design is sweet and not too loud but just enough.
The only thing I’d change is the pale orange color. I like the blue but the orange doesn’t go with much. They are still a sweet pair of shoes and I’m definitely recommend. They look great and again are the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned.
These shoes have a lot of flair. The yellow appears like gold in contrast with the navy blue. The Kyrie 7s provide comfort and support with style and functionality. They are light weight, have exceptional grip, and provide a good cushion to the soles of your feet. They are everything I was looking for in a pair of basketball shoes because I can wear them both casually and to play hoops. It took about 2 days to break in the shoes which is normal for me because I have wide feet. After the two days I wore it to play some pickup games with friends and they performed beautifully. Overall solid shoe. All the colors they come in are so unique, will be looking to purchase another pair soon.
I don’t necessarily play basketball, but I definitely felt ready to at any given moment wearing these. They fit true to size and are ridiculously comfortable. They’re lightweight. What really makes them great is the insoles, which are really soft but still provide amazing arch support. I consider myself to have a pretty high arch so that’s a really big factor in the sneakers I wear. The colors aren’t something I would normally go out of my way to pick, but I was surprised with how many of my regular outfits I was able to wear them with. They’re sporty enough and casual enough to go with many different styles. These were comfortable enough to lounge around in or chase my kids around the playground for an hour. I had no issue wearing these all day for many different levels of activity. All in all, this is a good looking and awesomely versatile performance shoe that can check off any list of even the most particular shoe head or someone like me who wants the most bang for their buck out of their sneakers.
I love opening a new box of shoes and these Kyrie 7's were no exception. The crispness of the paper, the smell of the rubber and most of all the beauty of a beautiful, clean shoe. These shoes are pretty. From the webbing all over the shoes to the color pops of blue and yellow. They are comfortable, not super light, but light enough to wear all day. They run true to size with just the right width for a normal width foot. I loved that it didn't feel bulky which made it perfect for wearing on the court and the sole had a good grip to it. All in all, it's a good shoe that you can wear on the court and off.
