These shoes are sooo supportive and they look great. This is the first basketball shoe that my husband has ever tried and he was super impressed with the amount of support and the comfort level. He says he feels like he can do anything in these shoes! We both like that they are funky basketball shoes but the design is not too in your face. The black and white is classic and the subtle splash of purple is really nice. As he wore them he could not stop commenting about the ankle support! He is definitely a believer in a specific type of shoe serving a different purpose now! This is a fantastic basketball shoe and so far we feel like the comfort can not be beat. My husband has not been wearing them for too long, but it is very obvious that they are extremely well made and they seem like they will last a long time! They are highly recommended by us!
My husband was thrilled to try these new Nike Zoom Freak 3 Basketball shoes. He found the design to be out of his usual style which was a plus! The purple strap on top was unlike anything he's ever owned. He found the fit to be appropriate for basketball play -- he wore them for over an hour of basketball practice. There was ample ankle support around the ankle and he found them easy to pivot/turn quickly. This was the thing he liked most about the shoe. The one thing he would change would be the weight -- he found them slightly heavy.
Overall a great basketball shoe with a fun, colorful design that's sure to be noticed on the court!
First off, these are not my regular choice when it comes to design. However, that all went out the window when I put them on my feet. I tend to be very hard on shoes because I am very active. These shoes actually assist me because how structured they are. They are beyond comfortable and I really like how supportive they are around my ankles. I will be wearing these for all my active needs.
These shoes fit well and had very good traction for basketball. The geographic soles feel helpful when cutting cutting shifting weight quickly. The look of these shoes is more retro than I would pick out usually, but overall a good sneaker.
These shoes fit pretty snuggly around my foot but felt a little long in the toe area. It has a Velcro strap that goes across the laces for extra support. This is a nice feature, especially when playing games outside. The velcro does have a down side. The side of the strap that is stitched in place, it appears the stitching wasn't finished which causes a little lip to stick out. If your foot is a little big in the shoe (not to the point of discomfort) the strap doesn't go fully across the shoe which leaves a gap that can snag on pants when sitting (if you fold your legs). The shoes offer great support for your feet and ankles, especially when doing activities. I would not recommend them as an all day shoe. My feet felt warm and kind of sweaty. To be fair, I prefer to wear sandals or go barefoot when I can. I don't know how the shoes perform long term as I've only had them for about two weeks. They feel like they are good material and should last if they are used as intended. The overall design of the shoe was pretty cool. I liked the lock on one tongue and a key on the other but I'm not totally sure what that has to do with the shoe. The name of the shoe and the design don't really fit. The look of the shoe is pretty neat. It certainly looks like the most high end sports shoe I've worn. If I could change anything, it's the velcro strap. I like it's function but when trying to get the shoes on, the stiff plastic of the strap falls onto the velcro, making it harder to get the shoe on. That might just be the nature of a strap like that. The functionality of the strap outweighs the inconvenience when putting the shoes on.
These shoes fit and feel fantastic. The design is great. Love that the right/left coordinate with each other rather than match. These shoes are plenty comfortable to wear all day. The only problem is I almost forgot to change shoes and started to mow the lawn in them. They cleaned up fine though are my go to shoes for most everything now. My wife has now discovered my shoes and wants to get a matching pair…which is my only complaint about the shoes (I’m not keen on matching) but don’t tell the wife.
The Zoom Freak 3 are very comfortable. Although the color combination could be better, the comfort makes up for it. These are not everyday wears or going out wear for me but more of a walk, stroll or activity shoe. The comfort level to me is a 10 out 10 and I would wear them for those activities that require that comfort. If I could change anything it would be the style of the strap or the entire strap itself. All in all good fit, great comfort but design to get used to.
The Nike Zoom Freak 3s are very stylish and the design is unique. They provided comfort to my feet after wearing all day running around. They also provide a strong grip which is useful when doing sports. I liked that the style was just a bit different. I prefer more basic style shoes but these pass the basic but with flair shoes. The purple Velcro strap is different but still goes with everything. All in all a great shoe for day to day or just for sports. You can’t go wrong either way.
These shoes were very comfortable and provided support for my feet for different activities including basketball and running. They seem to be durable and are made well. I'm not sure really on what I think of how they look as at first I liked the appearance but after a bit of wearing them I'm questioning if I really like how they look. Overall I feel they are a good quality shoe and are comfortable for both casual wear and when being active.
Definitely an awesome addition to the NBA champion league and MVP’s collection of shoes. I found these to be very stable comfortable. And as someone who has ankle problems like myself, they are very stable and keep your ankles in place at the same time allowing for easy maneuvering and movement on the court. I also like that it’s a low ankle profile to the model of the sneaker, meaning that it can be worn off the court as well as for lifestyle purposes.
The Nike Zoom Freak 3 basketball shoes definitely have a unique look to them with the Velcro wing strap. The shoe is pretty comfortable and can have extra support along the mid-foot and arch area by strapping down the middle support wing. The color selection is overall fairly neutral, but unique enough with the lock/key design on the shoe tongue, the purple Velcro wing, and the mismatched colors of the Nike logo on the toe area. The design is certainly visually interesting, just not my personal style. The shoes seem to run a bit small, so would recommend sizing up a 1/2 size at least. The shoes are quite comfortable, but did feel a little on the heavy side (likely due to increased support for play). I also prefer more ankle support for basketball shoes, so the low profile is less ideal. I did not care for the plastic wing along the mid foot, as it is an extra step when putting in the shoes and taking them off and it is quite bulky. Overall, good materials and quality, just not my style.
The Nike Zoom Freak 3 is a good looking shoe! The design is sleek and not clunky, which is a nice feat for a basketball shoe. There is a great deal of stability side-to-side, and the shoe fits true to size. The stylings of the lock and key on separate feet was not something that I noticed right away, but made for an interesting design choice.
The shoe was for the most party pretty comfortable. There was a little less arch support than I would normally like, as I supinate when I walk, so this is not really a shoe I would want to wear for a full day. There were a few places that were hitting at odd pressure points on my feet. However, for a basketball game, practice or for fun, they’re very comfortable and support the feet in the right spot. The strap across the middle allowed for a nice tight fit across the middle of the foot. And again, they look sharp!
This shoe is honestly an embarrassment to the Nike brand. It’s horribly tight and uncomfortable - and I have small feet. It’s unattractive, not innovative, and provides no more support than a cheap sneaker.
I would make the housing for the foot much larger, change the material of the heel, and remove the ugly purple, plastic Velcro strap.
For myself the shoe was a perfect fit! I really was satisfied with the feel during movement and while being active. The design is cool too! I like the little pop of color and how the whole shoe isn't black. I need to wear them a little more, but they become bothersome when worn all day. The sole of the shoe is so dope! I just am not sure how the sole will hold up to wear.
These shoes are very comfortable. I would definitely wear them to play sports or run around with the kids. The design/style is not ideal for me though. I did not like that the shoes didn't match each other in more than one place. I know younger kids though that probably love this style. I also didn't really like the band across the top of the laces. It seemed to just add one more step in wearing the shoes. The shoes do seem durable and true to size and I will definitely wear them at home and doing other activities.
The shoe is very sturdy and well made. The shoe is nice and snug on my feet – not too tight/narrow but also not loose. Plenty of room for my toes to be comfortable. I enjoy the black and white color scheme of the design. The purple piece is not aesthetically my preference, but it doesn’t bother me or detract from function when I’m wearing the shoes. I had no problem wearing the shoe all day. My kids loved the sensory feel of it. Did not rub or cause blisters and had great arch support.
These sneakers are pretty awesome! Pretty funky (imo) but cool! The purple jelly strap along with the green and blue Nike logo on the front takes me back to the 90’s! Something I’d definitely wear back then and now. These aren’t just cool they’re also very comfortable! You can walk in them all day and not feel it at the end of the day!! I wouldn’t change anything 10/10
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have found. I have flat feet and finding the right shoe can be difficult, but these have amazing soles that make it feel like walking on a cloud. They are very cushiony which makes walking / running / jumping all comfortable. We have a tripped planned in a month and these will be the shoes I’m taking because they are just so comfortable.
The shoe also has a design which is not common. My daughters love it, me not so much. The checks on the toes of each shoe are a different color and that just bugs me. Once again, very minor, especially compared to the comfort.
The one down side is the strap over the shoe laces. It makes it difficult to put the shoe on while standing up because the Velcro always wants to catch. Other than that which is minor, this shoe is amazing!
