Nikon made it right
I posted below about my rangefinder, and the response I got after sending it in for repair. Nikon rep said it was heat damage and would not fix. 3 days later another rep called and made it right. I was not trying to get a new rangefinder, just wanted mine fixed for the problem with lens. They made it right... Great company, as I use them for rifle scopes and rangefinders... Just like a good company to make it right.

I keep the rangefinder in my golf bad inside my house. I am very PARTICULAR about my toys. Play about once a month, it stays in my bag until I use it. they said it would not cover the damage. will not use Nikon again for rangefinders
