Super big and clunky. Overly complicated, I wanted to make a milk shake and filled half the basin. But you can't click half and choose milk shake you have to choose full .. dumb. Didn't breakup the mix ins. The recipe used too much milk to ice cream ratio and was basically flavored milk. This machine doesn't chill or freeze anything. It only blends stuff together. Waste of money. I attempted to use it this weekend, and the product broke after 1 use; the paddle falls right off the base when running. Being that it is outside the warranty, Ninja will not do anything to fix the product, except offer 50% on a new product. I bought the Creami Deluxe a little over a month ago and it has been absolutely amazing. My favorite ice cream to make was strawberry, but now it’s something I call “Very Berry,” which has strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. It comes out amazing with the recipe for strawberry ice cream included slightly tweaked. I’ve also been able to make Pineapple sorbet (more like Italian ice because I used lower sugar), vanilla, mango ice cream, and will be making chocolate soon. People have tried the ice cream and it is so creamy that it reminds them of an Italian gelato or sorbet. The machine is easy to use and clean. While it does need to be unplugged after use or you can’t turn it on after a period of time, it specifically says in the manual to unplug it after each use so not a big deal. I purchased the Creami from Costco, and it works well for making ice cream. We prepare the ice cream base without any add-ins, then incorporate small, unfrozen mix-ins if desired. I'm not sure why some people report their blade breaking or coming off, but mine is perfectly fine.\n\nWe have successfully made vanilla, banana, and strawberry ice cream. We also attempted some sorbets; the peach didn't have a very pleasant aroma, but mango is next on our list to try.\n\nThe ice cream produced is very fresh and can be exceptionally good once you perfect your recipes. Try adding corn syrup to reduce ice crystal formation instead of just sugar, or replace some sugar with corn syrup. During normal use, small, razor-sharp plastic shards broke off the lid and ended up in the ice cream. It was pure luck that we noticed them before our children ate it — these pieces were so sharp they could easily have caused serious internal injuries if swallowed.\n\nNaturally, I reported this immediately to Ninja, expecting them to take this safety issue seriously. Instead, they completely refused to replace the lid, even though the machine was less than a year old. After a lot of back-and-forth, they finally agreed — “as a gesture of goodwill” — to send a replacement lid. But it never arrived.\n\nWhen I followed up, they confirmed they’d send it again, only to email me a few hours later saying they actually couldn’t send it after all. Then they had the nerve to claim the matter was resolved because they had supposedly replaced the lid — which they never did.\n\nTo make matters worse, when I tried to share my honest experience on SharkNinja’s own website (the company behind Ninja), they deleted my review. It seems they only allow positive feedback to stay visible, which makes it impossible for customers to give honest reviews or warnings about serious safety issues.\n\nI have never experienced such incompetent, dismissive, and dishonest customer service. And considering this is a potentially dangerous defect that could have harmed children, their response and behavior are completely unacceptable.\n\nIf you value quality, reliability, and safety, do not buy Ninja products.
