I'm tall so I really appreciate the long running surface. I'm also on the older side, and the machine is easy on the joints. I'm glad I purchased it and would probably do so again, but I really wish there was a way to \"bypass\" the touch screen controls, mostly because they are so obviously designed to be used only with iFit (the workout subscription program). I don't and won't subscribe because I like managing my workouts manually and I don't want to spend the money. It's not the easiest machine for manual operation (the touch screen is really only for iFit). But it's still good in terms of the actual running/walking. Time goes fast as I exercise and I enjoy exercising now. The reason I gave it a 4 star is that if I have to pause the program during a workout, it won't resume to the prior speed and goes very slow, causing me to restart the work out. The IFIT app on the machine could be a bit more user friendly. I have a TerraX in the garage during the summer months is gets upto 115°. I purchased the 1750 and I have it at the feet of my bed. I weigh 350 lbs, it has no problems handling my weight. I am able to do 2 - 30 minute workouts per day. I like the fact the treadmill has incline and decline capabilities. . . which enhances the workout when using the I Fit program. I am very happy with the treadmill. The only negative comment I have. . . a high tech treadmill should have lighted buttons for speed, incline, decline, and fan. When working out at night these buttons are not viewable. Today I received a call from a manager that really cares about her company. After a very nice discussion she apologized sincerely for the way our issue had been handled. She had taken the time to review all of the files and concluded it wasn’t our fault. What really impressed me was she asked my permission to use this case as a teaching tool to increase customer service training.
