These stinger hooks are my favourites. They always catch the soft biters. I use them on jigs and sometimes spinner baits. Most often out of stock in some of the local shops so this time I bought them direct from you guys,
The 2" slip-on Stinger hooks are the perfect length for a 4 inch ringworm on a RZ jig. You do not miss a hit because the stinger finishes right in front of the tail. That is my go-to, early spring, rig on the river, when the water's still cold.
I purchased some Northland Stinger hooks that slip on the hook because I was consistently losing half of my nightcrawler using a single hook spinner setup. On my first trip I initially had the same problem, so I put a Northland Stinger hook and immediately caught a couple of smallmouth bass followed by two walleyes. I never missed a bite after I put the stinger on!
Northland Stinger hooks are sharp and effective. Easy to slide on a jig or a crawler harness hook to catch the short biting fish with he rubber coating on the loop to hold the Stinger hook in place. Great product try it out and put more fish in your boat!
If you use stinger hooks, I really like these well-made stinger hooks from Northland. They come in both 2- and 3-inch lengths. The stingers have either bronze or red treble hooks. I like red the best, but that's just my personal preference. Try these out -- you'll like them, too!
