I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BLADDER!
I bought the DYNA 1.5L. While I LOVED this product initially--the bladder/reservoir part not even 3 months into leaks! I went to do my LONG run 22 miles this morning and it was LEAKING everywhere! I would NOT recommend it. I kept the backpack portion and purchased a different brand of bladder.

I'm divorcing osprey's hydration reservoirs!
I have a couple major complaints about this reservoir. It worked like a charm for my first 3 hikes. On the 4th hike, the part of the straw that detaches from the bag wouldn't stay on anymore. The sllightest bump would make it come apart. If I tried to drink out of it I got nothing but air. Spent the majority of my hike messing with it to see if I could fix it or figure out what the problem was. I tried several things all to no avail. Left me high and dry. Also, the cleaning kit for this doesn't fit right because of the baffling in the reservoir. I like the pack that came with the reservoir. It's the dyna. But as of today, I am looking for a better hydration pack from a company that can back up their products.

Backpacking & Blisters Podcast Review: Leaked
I LOVE Osprey stuff! But I use bladders on the trail about 3 days a week (on average). I'm not overly aggressive with it. After about 4-5 weeks it started leaking from the bite valve. Dripping on me is a better description. If you use this a few times a year it will not be a problem but for regular users, it is.

I like it A LOT
I had recently purchased an Osprey Daylite pack and decided to spend the few extra dollars on the Osprey 1.5 L Reservoir. Like a couple of the reviews, I too was looking for some written instructions. However, I quickly found the video, which was very helpful. I followed along with the narrator; going back and reviewing what he said and demonstrated quite a few times. I too felt like I was going to rip or break the opening when I tried to open it the first time. I had trouble disconnecting the hose from the quick connect in order to re-route it to the left side of the reservoir. I also had trouble with the bite valve locking mechanism. However, I found that both problems were resolved quickly with working out the stiffness/tightness of the new plastic. Overall I really like the reservoir and feel like I've made a huge step up from my previous ones.

Virtually impossible to remove secondary plastic seal to add water.

Perfect for trail running
I got this pack specifically for trail runs, and after trying it out this past weekend, I am very pleased. The slim profile is the perfect size for me and I wouldn't want any more volume on a run. I like the reservoir opening, though I understand previous reviewers' concerns about drying and cleaning. It just takes a little creativity to figure out how to prop the opening wide enough for air flow. I laughed when I saw others having the same experience trying to figure out how to open it the first time. It took about 6 seconds of googling to sort it out, though, so not sure why the negativity. Overall, I love it.
