Have recommended to 5+ People - just buy it
Have two of these and get questions every time on trail where we got them. This pack has enabled us to continue to hike mountains, explore backcountry and generally get moving outdoors with two little ones. At least 5 friends have bought after seeing ours and all love them. A bit pricey but well worth the initial investment

So worth it!
Absolutely amazing. We have a black one as well as a blue and get comments on them while on the trail constantly. It allows our child to be fully protected from the sun with all around shade. I can slip a bladder behind the back portion for us. We bought a Poco Lite and returned it because the shade wasn’t enough coverage for our young child. The storage on these backpacks is insane. We have yet to just fill up one pack. The adjustability is great and can fit a broad range of body types comfortably. 11/10 would buy again.

Great Carrier
I love this carrier! I mainly use it around the house and yard, but it has been a major life and time saver with helping me get things done. I feel like it distributes my kids weight pretty evenly so no one part of my back is killing me after a few hours of wear.

Durable and well designed
Lightweight with good support. The sunshade came in clutch the first time we used - misjudged how sunny a trail was! Kid consistently passes out or contentedly enjoys the walk. He would rate 10/10 for comfort, clearly.

Osprey All The Way!
Works awesome! I’m an Osprey fan, fits just like any of their packs. Our daughter is a bit tall for her age, at 20 months, but there is a lot of adjustability. We should get another year or so of use out of it. Lots of pockets! Very cool pack/ baby carrier!

Best Baby Carrier Ever
This is a must have item for hiking with kids. We purchased this for our 2 year old and he loved it. We can now switch between our now 3 year old and 6 month old easily and they both love it. The built in shade is essential to keep them cool and it’s so comfortable for them they have both fallen asleep on several occasions. There is plenty of space for all your gear and the plus is worth the extra money for the extra pouch space. It is high quality, built to last, and extremely comfortable to carry.

Great child carrier!
Purchased this for doing some minor trail hikes with our little guy who is 7 months old. He loves it already and is so entertained by all he can see from up in his poco. A very comfortable fit with all the adjustments you need. There’s a reason it’s #1.

Osprey Poco Plus is the best child carrier out there
Purchased Poco Plus in winter 2016 shortly after first child was born. I'm 5'7", 147lbs. and my wife 5'9", 130lbs. By the time he turned 3 yrs old in Oct. 2019 we carried him around 1,500 miles. The trips ranged from day hikes (8-16 miles) to 1-2 night backpacking trips (10-27 miles). Elevation gain from 1,000 ft to over 4,000 ft. My wife spent a fair amount of time carrying our son in the pack particularly on backpacking trips. She carried diapers, and sons clothes, some of her clothes and then our son. These packs are said to be "gender neutral" designed, however my wife would get 2 raw spots on her back between her hip bones. To address this, she would rap a shirt or fleece top around her waist before putting on the kid carrier. I never had any discomfort issues like my wife did. Our second child was born in Sept 2019 so we purchased a second Osprey – Poco Plus Child Carrier to carry our new little girl. My wife used the 2019 pack a majority of the time carrying our daughter in 2020 and 2021 while I used the 2016 pack to carry our son. My wife did not have the same back discomfort issues with the new 2019 pack that she did with the old 2016 pack and she never needed to rap a shirt or fleece around her waist. She also used the new 2019 pack for a backpacking trip which included her carrying our daughter and everything listed above. In her opinion they definitely made improvements for her comfort.
Pros: Includes a built-in sunshade which we use a lot. The area where the child sits is ridged and will not collapse thus adds safety/protection for the child if you slip or fall. External pockets are very convenient with the extra cargo space. Pack is very adjustable for both adults and growing child. Our son is now 4 yrs old (37.5lbs) and I'll still carry him 4-12 miles. Comfort has improved in the 2019 model based on wife's opinion & experience. Kickstand is also very stable when setting on the ground with child in pack.
Cons: Area for water reservoir is rather small
