I will never go back to the old style. I used this on my shockwave shotgun. The material is much more stiff and much easier to insert and pull through the chamber. There is more of a cleaning surface and you can attach cleaning attachments to each end if preferred. They are easier to use than I thought they would be. I have not tried them all but hopefully by this weekend I will be caught up on my gun cleaning.
