Product Description

The Flip n’ Zip features a drop-point skinner on one side and a gutting blade on the other. Guides and professional hunters around the world prefer Outdoor Edge’s signature gutting blade because it cuts underneath the skin without cutting hair and the blunt tip prevents punctured internal organs that can spoil fresh game meat. The 8Cr13MoV stainless blades are precisely heat treated and hand finished to a razor’s edge for superior edge retention and performance. Both blades open and close independently with one hand and lock securely. Rubberized TPR handles mounted to sturdy stainless steel liners ensure a safe, non-slip grip even when wet. The Flip n’ Blaze comes complete with a nylon belt sheath with H-style belt loops for both vertical and horizontal carry options.

Sling knife review
Had ordered a fair number of these knives in the hopes of utilizing one and gifting the rest. On opening the box found black knives and not orange handles as indicated in the description. The pic shows black, however, recheck on the description and definitely not what I had ordered.
Used the knife this year, 2018, on an elk I harvested. Amazing how rapid it was able to cut thru chest and abdominal skin and fascia. MUCH easier without near the concern for “nipping” the stomach, intestines, etc. And being able to switch blades was a treat. I did find the spring loaded blade keeper a wee bit stronger than need be as it created a need to find something hard to push it against when my hands were bloody. All in all a great knife combo to have if the black handle is findable in the dark or snow.
