This broadhead is extremely accurate. However, it did shoot a little different when compared to my field tips. So i did have to sight in my bow to adjust to the broadheads. Once that was done I was getting great groups. surprisingly they don't feel sharp out of the box. I shot 100 Grain Thunderheads for years. They are razor sharp out of the box. With a little work I got them where I wanted the sharpness to be. I contacted Rage about my issue and they sent me a package of free replacement blades. So great customer service. I have purchased 3 packs of these and will stick with them. Both deer I killed this year didn't go more than 60 yards. I hit one up high and not much blood. Which I excepted with the hit. The other was a good hit right behind the front leg and the blood trail was great! My 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter followed the blood trail!
I have used several different broad heads over the years and have found none as effective as my new Rage Hypodermic Trypans. The entry and exit wound of this broad head is massive. This broad head doesn’t leave anything to chance when following your blood trail. I couldn’t be more pleased with your product. Thanks
The Trypan is one accurate, strong, reliable broadhead I've shot several deer with these and have never let me down. Massive blood trails, strong, and fly like a field point. Give them a try you won't regret it.
I've shot Rage broadheads for a long time now. They have always performed well. In particular, I believe shooting a large expandable helped me recover my buck from last season. My arrow deflected off a branch and hit the buck in front of the shoulder. The massive wound channel allowed did it's job and while the track job was longer than I had hoped for, the fact is I recovered that buck. I can honestly say I don't believe I would have recovered him if I had been shooting a small fixed broadhead.
I purchased these Broadheads for an Alberta bear hunt this spring. As these were the first mechanical Broadheads that I have ever owned, i was a bit skeptical. After I shot my 325# bear, all I could say was “wow”. The hole going in was the same as the exit hole and the blood trail was ridiculous. This Broadhead is devastating and I can’t wait for deer season. The Broadhead itself held up fine and with a new shock collar will be ready for use again. I would definitely recommend this Broadhead to others.
