Best design i have ever used.
Used this rack to bring our two new Townie GO eBikes home. We are sensitive to the weight an so keep the batteries inside the vehicle. Very quick and secure load, even with fenders. Love the integrated locks. Really makes taking the bikes a simple matter. I've used other style racks, and this is simply superior and easy to load/unload. The bolt/pin secures the hitch into the receiver without any play or wiggle.
The concerning part is two-fold: 1. would really feel better with a full 2" tube rather than the smaller diameter with the adapter. Like is said, it doesn't have any play in the receiver - so maybe just me. 2. The Alaska roads may have dealt the pivot area a little more stress than normal, because the bikes seem to move side to side as we move over our uneven Alaska roads. Sort of like watching an earthquake! Boy, was that fun. After I examined the picot area, it looks like the metal plates may have developed a little too much space between the plates and the hitch tube at the pivot. I inserted some thin UHMW shims and it seems to have tightened up the joint without impeding the pivot action.

Very well built, great bike rack.
My wife and I are seniors and we found this product to suit our needs perfectly, light weight, easy to install both on the vehicle and easy to mount our Mountain Bikes to, very little movement while in motion. We really appriciate the tilt down function with the bikes installed, so well balanced makes it easy to tilt down and back up agin.

Nice rack although I wish it used a 2" hitch
I like everything about this hitch with one exception. I have a 2" hitch on my car and this rack has a 1" main support post with a 2" adapter, presumably so it can fit both 1" and 2" hitches. The result is that it that it has some wobble / bounciness that I would rather not see.

Such an excellent product!!!
Bikes ride very solidly. Just took a trip to Black Hills of S. Dakota. Bikes were solidly attached to the car along the 80 mph interstate highway. Bikes didn't move, didn't scratch each other. Easy to load bikes. Very nice product.

Superclamp EX2 meets expectations
Like the product. Holds our 2 carbon bikes safely with no frame rub. Sticks out a little further behind the car than expected. Easy to install. The installation guide listed the hardware that was included, but some of the bolts were already installed on the rack, were not in the parts bag as expected. Light weight in comparison to other racks. Can easily open the rear hatch of our car with rack in folded down position. Like the fact that it was made in the USA.

Great rack, easy to use. Security is relative
I like how stable the rack is, and I like that there are locks included; however ultimately the cables are thin, and the outer portion of the rack is only bolted on to the inner portion. Don't plan to rely on this security if you are away from the vehicle for very long. I added loctite for a bit of extra time, but it seems like with a little more engineering time a more robust security solution could be developed.

Great clamps, locking cables should be longer
Easily adjusted to fit our bikes. Holds them firmly - no wiggling, no rubbing, no interference.

The built-in cable locks are convenient, but are not quite long enough to loop through two wheels and a frame.
