With it having front breaks only when you apply the breaks to hard you will be flying head first. And my head first trip over the handlebars cause me major damage to wrist and hand. So make sure they don't have front break and only back breaks. I will never purchase a scooter without shocks again. Every little bump and crack are accentuated on this shockless scooter. If you don't use cruise, the thumb push throttle is very fatiguing, it would be much more comfortable with a finger pull throttle. The turn signals integrated into the hand grips are covered by my large hands so that makes the signals useless. Grips need to be longer, so the turn signals can be seen. Are you listening Segway? The 10-inch wheel makes the ride somewhat squirrely. A 12-inch wheel in future models would be much more comfortable. I don't hate this scooter, but not in love with it either. My suggestion is wait until you can afford an upgraded model. Got a good 6 months of moderate riding before the rear tire got a puncture. Didn’t notice until the self-sealing material was leaking out of tire because of low pressure. Had to purchase new jelly tire and 80% install ( the tutorial video was very useful from Segway, however the design of e-scooter makes it semi-difficult to replace without professional assistance/tools). Despite user error, the device is sturdy, reliable and functional for trips about 3-4 miles at full power (user is ~250pounds loaded per trip)\n\nI like the safety lights and signals. The battery charging is about 2. 5 hrs .
