Because of the closed design I can carry this pistol confidently as a pocket pistol without fear of lint mucking up the action. The 1911-style makes it incredibly familiar, ready and reliable. The fit and finish was impeccable out of the box, and I the all metal frame (no polymer-stuff here!) is a delight every time I hold it in my hands. My friends are continually blown away (pun intended) by how solidly the weapon is built. The gun feeds reliably and shoots accurately with nearly any ammo I feed it. The aftermarket for this weapon is surprisingly good and I can literally configure this weapon for any shooting application outside of duck hunting. My sister had purchased the P365. I was very interested in it until i shot it. I quickly decided that wasn’t my gun. I explained this to the gun shop and he said I was lucky because they had a P938. When i saw it, i knew immediately that this was the match! For normal shirt-sleeve weather the P938 is the one. I use a cloth shoulder holster at times and an ankle holster others. It is so small and light that I forget I am wearing it. I carry loaded chamber and hammer down for which the P938 is ideal. First round shot jammed. Found out early production units were made with P238 parts. Sent it to Sig and they updated parts and springs. After between 300-500 rounds not one single problem using various ammo. Switched to Hogue rubber grips that fit my hands perfectly and comfortable. It's my EDC for 7 years and still looks new. Not long after buying it I took it to a 2 day handgun course at Acdemi and shot in excess of 850 rounds during training without a single malfunction. It is always in my range gun rotation and my daily carry. It’s quite comfortable and conceals well using a Bullard “Bodyguard” holster with the matching magazine pouch giving me an extra 7 if needed.
