Would not recommend. My ears are still ringing from when I shot it 2 hours ago. Shooting direct impingement AR type rifles suppressed as a lefty really sucks and not healthy in the long run. This thing is a blessing and it does work well. Is it a little louder than other suppressors but, still much quieter than an un suppressed 11. 5” AR. Much nicer on my lungs and face. I have put just over 200 rds through it and I am very happy with it. The sound suppression is great considering that it is a 5.56. I have been using Hornady, Frontier 75 gr 5.56 ammo out of a 14 inch barrel, and I have to say it is awesome. It holds zero and it is very quiet. It does get hot (that is to be expected), however it cools down rather fast. I have the accessory carry bag that is sold on the SIGSAUER site, it is great to remove the suppressor after use while hot and store fit for cooling. The QD feature makes it very easy to attach and remove, yet very secure. The back pressure reduction is fantastic. Under night vision it does glow after a couple mags. The can does cool down rather quick though. The flash mitigation is surprisingly good for the size of the can. I’ve used it on 10.3 - 16” rifles. It can handle the 10.3 but really starts to be useful around 11.5. Ideally it lives on a 12.5 now and could not be happier. The POI shift is minimal as well. The clutch lock system is fantastic. I ran 1500 rounds through a hot and humid 5 day class with the can never coming off. It did not carbon lock at all. Very good flash reduction and the suppressor has almost zero gas blowing back in your face. It's not the quietest suppressor but it's intended use is for supersonic ammo so sound is somewhat irrelevant.
