I have the DA/SA. It's very accurate, and feels great. I also love the Legion holster for it. I got mine a few years back before the optic ready ones had come out, unfortunately. There are only two issues I have with this gun. \n\nOne is how hard and fast the brass flies out. With my X-Ten and My G40, my brass lands in the stall with me, but with the 220, \"where'd all my brass go?!\" It really launches those casings! Which is very surprising with such a stout recoil spring.\n\nSecond, the night sight lost brightness pretty fast. The ones on my X-Ten are super bright, but these weren't even near that bright when I got it new. \n\nOtherwise, woulda been 5 stars.\n\nReason for the \"7\" recommendation score is because I don't like how Sig tests their 1st generation products on the customers to find all the kinks. That really makes me feel like Sig doesn't do the necessary testing that they should. I added a Romeo 2 and Sig suppressor sights. As one reviewer already noted, the rear sight dovetail is too close to the optic cut to accommodate Sig suppressor sights and an optic. I ended up buying Trijicon suppressor sights and it solved the problem. Luckily I have my own sight install tools and had a use for the unused Sig sights. The infinite wisdom at sig made it so a roemo1 and the increase height irons are incompatible without sight milling because sig milled the optic cutout to far back. To top it off the internals of on the legions are honestly not that good. Ended up dumping another 600 USD in upgrades into the pistol to make it shoot like its price tag indicates it should be. Also, the PVD finish on the legions while good out of the box doesn't hold up to anything. I'm talking even the romeo 1 starts to rub off the finish on the slide if you plan on carrying this, I suggest getting it refinished in something else.\n\nNow the good, it's the best sig as far as fit and finish are concerned for the mass-produced models anyway. By throwing more stuff into the internals you can greatly improve the pistol. I will say is the grips on my 220 and 226 are among the best by a long shot of all the pistols I own. It makes me try to find that sig legion grip feels when Im looking for new grips on my other firearms. Also this has the best feature of Sigs of yore, it has the original magazine catch. One of the worst things Sig has ever done was swap to the wedge release...\n\nMy overall impressions are it's not worth the $, but it's still the best sig series you can buy that's in production. Run several hundred rounds through it. Very solid. Very accurate. Handles recoil surprisingly well. My issue is with difficulty inserting magazines. The magazine needs to be slap into place. Nearly impossible to simply slide it in, unlike my P320. SigSauer did agree to look at it, but determined it was in tolerance. I'm an old guy with old guy eyes, and I can shoot a 5 shot, 1.75\" group at 22 yards. They are great pistols. But this P220 Legion is on a completely different level! The weight, balance, trigger, and finish are insanely impressive. \nWhen I racked the slide for the first time, I immediately noticed the nice heavy weight of the recoil spring. Which told me this isn’t just “pretty”, but was built to shoot true full power 10mm loads. \nYou have to insert the mags with some good authority. Almost to the point where you worry something is wrong. After quickly researching this, came to find out this is normal. \nWorth every penny. \nP.S - The one star reviews are hilarious. Like they had zero idea what the mag capacity was, then compares it to a Glock. They are either a lying shill planting negative feedback, or completely brainless.
