Amazing CCW until....
Amazing CCW until one good day of sweating ruins an absurdly proceed magazine with rust. The take great care of my firearms and use clp as preventative maintenance. Purchased 6 months ago and now I can't trust to use as my daily as I sweat a lot. Sig customer service basically stated it's not meant to be sweat on....Never had this issue with a Glock....

P365 is tiny and powerful weapon
I love this pistol because despite its size it has a good range and is super practical when carrying it when I am in civilian clothes.

Never leave home without it!
Best concealed handgun on the market. Made in the USA unlike the Hellcat.

Failure to go into battery
Pistol was failing to go into battery. It would fire and eject the first shell just fine, but would then fail to return to battery. It was sent back to Sig and they replaced the fire control unit, stating that the original fire control unit rails were out of spec. Although I appreciate the problem being fixed, swapping out the serialized portion of the pistol created a huge hassle for me due to the firearm laws in the worthless state i live in.

The repaired pistol works flawlessly and shoots very well (just like the 365 I test fired before purchasing this one), but I’m annoyed that I was without my new firearm for a month.

I sure got a lot of “I told you so” from the guys who had recommended the Glock 43.

Love it so much, I bought another
I have a red dot P320 X-series Compact for my ‘range fun’ weapon, and LOVE that gun, but wanted something smaller for, well, me, but I said it was for my wife, who has a P238, but wanted a 9 also, due to the ammo dilemma.

We took turns shooting the 365 @ 8, 10 & 15 yds., and she was immediately hitting the 6” drop plates, something she struggles with using her 238, right out of the gate. Grouping was sporadic, but still on the plate, so she says she wants this to be her EDC of choice now….LOL.

Together, we went through 150 rounds, without a single malfunction. I was 100% on the plates, at said distances, and the large majority of shots were grouped 3-4”, with a wanderer in the 5” to edge of the plate, here and there. For giggles, I went to 25 yds., the max for our pistol bays, and I was 18/26……but I’m no marksman.

I used the experience to convince my wife, “I like it so much, we should get another” …..and we’ve since added the red dot 365 XL to the mix.

Haven’t been able to replace it.
Honestly I always work to find something smaller with better firepower, reliability and capacity. But I never can. This is the perfect carry gun for me with only a jam or two from cheap ammo in 3 years. Love it.

probably shouldn't just got the g43
Very comfy in the hands, but I loath the x-ray sights. The dealer told me he had one with regular sights, and I get home and their tritium. Like all tritium, a fad that's useless at night and fuzzy during the day. I went in for a g43, regret this impulse buy. However, it is very comfy and really fun to shoot. For ccw it's fairly small and I forgot it was there for awhile. After 30 shots though, the factory sights were off by 3 inches at 20 feet, and the finish is coming off the barrel and inner parts of the slide, something my g22 hasn't done in 50,000 rounds. Despite the sights being off, the grouping was good. I do like the trigger and the recoil level. I actually thought my first round was a squib and took the gun apart to inspect the barrel. I really expected a sub compact 9mm to kick harder, but the 365 manages it well.

I was really disappointed with the dealer misinformation on the sights and nobody taking responsibility for it. I wrote Sig saying hey, just downgrade my sights and keep the x-rays. $5 of parts would've made a customer happy, but they've got my money already, so why bother with the customer? I was warned in FB groups that Sig would leave you hanging if you did have an issue. Ah well, buyer beware.

Perfect CCW
Living in Texas means brutally hot summers. Standard summer attire consists of shorts and a t-shirt. The P365 just disappears when carried in a variety of positions with zero printing: appendix, 3 o'clock position, or 5 o'clock position. The popularity of the P365 ensures that a wide variety of holsters are available. While I do not prefer pocket carry, the P365 would easily fill this role for those who do.
Due to the current ammunition shortage, I have to use my current supply sparingly. To date, I have 100 rounds through the barrel. The P365 shoots great. My medium-sized hands are able to firmly grasp the firearm and I have found that curling my pinky finger underneath is more conducive to a natural grip. The curved trigger feels natural and is crisp. I love the sights. I can acquire the target easily and quickly.
These are my initial thoughts as I have owned this for a short time. For the intended purpose of concealed carry, the P365 is a great choice.

P 365
Perfect EDC weapon for me. Micro compact fits well in my hand with or without the pinky extension. Superior sights allow quick target acquisition day or night. Packing 11 rounds with no printing in a tight good looking package is remarkable. Glock 26 is wider, heavier, can't get my pinky on the grip with the flush magazine, factory sights are a no go for me. Glock 19 compact is perfection with added night sights, but was tired carrying the weapon especially during the summer months. My go to concealed carry in the heat, Colt Detective Special, 2" barrel, 6 rounds, it did the job. Sig Sauer P 365 is in a different league. It got everything right. Retired my other weapons to the safe.
