I bought my first 3 pairs at an RCI store in 2015 or 2016 and still no holes, all the other merino wool socks I purchased only lasted a few years. \n\nI recently bought 3 more because they are the best boot socks I've ever worn and I wear boots everyday at work. I also added these socks to my family gift exchange for 2025. Want to do laundry a little less to get to wear my favorite boot socks at work.\n\nAll of mine are of the light grey style so far. \n\nI have probably about 30 to 40 pairs of merino wool socks and this pair is my favorite followed by the Darn Tough hiker socks.
