I’m now recovering although it will take a while before I’m at full strength. That being said, I wanted a knife that was built with an index finger hole that way there was no possible way my grip could slip and cause me to push my hand towards the blade while cutting something. After looking through a bunch of different knife manufacturers SOG had the snarl and it was exactly what I had in mind. I love the additional 2nd finger hole for additional grip support and no chance of me cutting myself. This is a great everyday tool for me and a perfect self-defense weapon if need be. As expected nice looking, good size, good weight and sharp. I believe the tilted install would give additional flexibility, when trying to determine the best carry option.
