My son broke the tempered glass on the backboard and had decided just to replace the whole court. I ordered the 888 court and received it all scratched. The backboard is plexiglass and NOT tempered glass as described. Made a complaint and they sent me a new backboard and again it’s plexiglass. I would have returned it for full refund but took me a while to install and did t want to go through the hassle of taking it down. \n\nCompared the old one I had to the new one and they have downgraded on the product. We tried to order a new crank however we were told that this crank is out of stock & wouldn't be back in stock till feb. Now we are told that the part won't be back in stock for 5 months!!! How can you continue to sell a $3000 hoop and not have replacement parts available? \n\nWe were able to find a crank from another parts place however after we installed it, the hoop still will not go up as there is still way to much resistance when you try to crank up the hoop. We don't want to brake the new crank however now are stuck on what to do...We spent thousands of dollars to put this inground hoop in however we should have researched this hoop more as there seems to be something wrong with this pro lift system.
