Stevens 555 12 Gauge Single Barrel Trap Single-Shot Shotgun

Three of the members of the trap team had the same issue at the same time frame. Savage arms will not respond and we sent info to BBB. Scheels doesn't tell you this when buying it. Scheels did say to bring the gun back and they will send to Savage for repair that takes two weeks (unfortunately we are in the middle of the trap season). I asked if they trust that since Savage won't respond to anyone. I was told Savage will respond to them. If it works out I will raise my rating but not sure I will ever buy anything from Savage again. No miss fires, Federal and Winchester ammo works fine - 7 1/2 and 8 shot 1200 fps. Very basic straight forward design, no fancy engraving or gold plated garbage. Low recoil. Shells don't eject, you pull them out manually- I didn't see this in the description, they come out effortlessly. Comes with three choke tubes and a tool, it is kind of a pain swapping them out fast. I ordered the Carlson's Trap pack to make that easier. The only thing I would change is to offer it with a 32 inch barrel instead of just the 30. The fore end is more narrow than most trap guns, since this is a newer gun, I don't know if there will be different fore ends like a beaver tail or not.
