Ran it pretty hard on the clean up. Over the next couple of years I used it pretty regularly for downed trees and clean up on my property. The saw ran flawlessly until a few days ago. Found out the motor piston and cylinder got a scored and wouldn't hold compression. Instead of having it repaired, it was cheaper to buy a new saw. Been running an MS170. Wanted more power and a bigger bar but was nervous about starting it and the extra weight. My dealer let me start it in the store to make sure I could pull it. I used it the day I brought it home and processed twice as much as I normally would in the same time. What an upgrade in power!
