Flail heads are not for the novice - you have to know what these heads are capable of. Any flail head like this is NOT for trimming. These will damage or ruin trees, fencing, or pretty much anything you hit with it. I used the old polycut with the white flails for many years on our old FS76. I purchased a new polycut 28-2 to use on my new FS131. All I can say is HOLD ON. This combination will chop a thistle down with a stem about 1-1/4\" in diameter - I'm not lying that actually happened, I couldn't believe it either. If this head is being used on a very big trimmer, a face shield isn't optional. They throw rocks and chunks of whatever weeds you're shredding up. It’s tough as nails and makes quick work of it all. I’ve hit it on rocks, metal posts, trees, and metal culverts. Still on the original blades with roughly 5 hours of rough cutting on it.
