Most 22 LR semi autos have issues with not always working without any issues. I was leaning toward paying more for the Sig P322 thinking it would be better built and more reliable, however given all of the negative reviews from owners of the P322 I decided not to spend more for something that appeared troublesome. I was skeptical of all the rave reviews of the TX22 Compact as many times rave reviews have not matched up well with the item I bought, but in this case they were spot on. Just a little care is needed to load the rounds correctly to prevent rim lock and it has always fired every round from several brands without issue. In more than 750 rounds I have had 2 failures to fire and trying to fire them a second time proved they were just dud rounds and not a problem with the pistol. \n\nI was able to get the 3 free mags within a week of submitting the rebate on line which was impressive. Just a lot of fun to shoot mag after mag without issues for a 22 LR semi-auto is remarkable, and it is beginning to get up there with my S&W 622 which has been working flawlessly for over 25 years. I just emptied my second box of Winchester 555 in which my TX Compact never experienced any failures to fire, feed or eject.
