I purchased a Tenpoint Phantom CLS with this ACUdraw on it. Best system, hands down for cocking your crossbow, and the main benefit, it is on the best crossbow hands down. Simple and easy to use, and an no worry on where to store it, because it is built into the stock.... ingenious!
The ACUdraw device allowed the of shooting my TenPoint Titan to be a wonderful experience. After looking at the options for crossbow cocking, I decided to go with the ACUdraw accessory. This was the best decision I could have made for my aging damaged hands and shoulders. Now instead of shooting four or five arrows, I can shoot all afternoon without staining joints. Thanks for this accessory option.
Mounted on my Titan SS - I would be unable to cock the crossbow without the ACUdraw. Age has taken the toll on my shoulders and strength. ACUdraw is safe and easy to use whatever your shooting situation. Also installed one on my wife's crossbow.
The Acudraw is the best accessory for my Ten Point
Life is short and time flies by. Our bodies began to develop limitations. We must improvise to do the tasks we once used to do with ease. I was limited by my shoulder and neck injury, and thought I would have to give up archery hunting. Then I realized that I could began to use a Crossbow, but manually cocking one was out of the question because of the pain. I could cock it with the rope, but as is said before I was limited by my physical deficiencies. Then walah ,TenPoint came out with the Acudraw and my limitations could not hold me back any longer . With the Acudraw I can cock my Carbon Elite with ease, and I can enjoy the days hunting with much more enjoyment. You all made life, witch is short, much more enjoyable with the Acudraw accessory. Thanks for the best accessory period for my Carbon Elite. Keep up the great work TenPoint.
This is a great product for older people who cannot cock their bow by hand but it sure would be nice if it didn't make so much noise. The clicking it makes while cocking the bow especially in the stand is annoying.
I had surgery on both shoulders Bow hunting was out I began looking at crossbows Then an old neighbor recommended I try Ten point crossbows out now. Now I have one and so does my grandson. Cocking it manually was out for me so I bought the ACUdraw its FANTASTIC! The handle stores in the stock. I liked it so much I bought one for my Grandsons bow!!
I am new to crossbows and have only demo'd models without the drawback assist products. Once I used the ACUdraw system I was hooked. The ACU52 is nice with the pull rope but the crank handle is so much easier to do in a tree stand if you need to reload. My only complaint is the screws that hold it onto the stock come loose after 30-40 shots.
The ACUdraw device is definitely better than hand-cocking, especially for those of us who used and abused our bodies as youngsters and are paying for it now! I purchased this device on my first TenPoint crossbow, the Turbo XLT, and used it for most every draw. However, given the fairly loud clicking it makes when cranking, hand-cocking or rope sled device is a must for cocking or re-cocking in the stand. Another short-coming of this legacy device is that there is no way to store it in the bow's stock and one must, therefore, strap the holster for it along with your knife, flashlight, binocular case, and whatever else you strap to your belt when hunting.
Thankfully, TenPoint has now released the much-improved ACUdraw PRO!
Eight years ago I purchased a Ten Point bow when my arthritis got bad. I was unable to draw the bow, but pro shop showed me AccuDraw, and it was love at first sight. Not only is minimum strength required, but the design is simple, foolproof, and safe. I've been able to comfortably and confidently hunt deer with it every season since. AccuDraw (and my Ten Point) still look and work like new. A deadly combination I recommend without reservation.
I purchased this because I had a spinal fusion that would have prohibited me from archery hurting this year. This has saved my chance to still be in the woods this fall. Turns so easy to draw my crossbow. I'm extremely pleased with it.
I am really disappointed in my Acudraw. You better make sure you make a kill shot with your first shot because if the noise doesn't run your animal off the movement required to cock your crossbow would surely get you busted.
I had a recurve crossbow as my first crossbow when I bought a Titan HLX with an Acudraw. Our was the best thing I've done. I'm an older guy and it has saved my shoulders. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a compatible crossbow.
